Here's one that's very similar to the Beam for $2.99. The part that latches on to the vent is slightly different.

No it's not a nice find..this is junk due to the fact the phone always weigh more than the vent and causes the phone to constantly pop off the vent when hitting bumps etc. The best one are the CD slot kind or the big suction mount type.

I have this. It's built way better than the generic chinese mounts (and been through many), and works better too.

Yes they do the vents also break off on the clip ins because u need to constantly take it off and put it back on.

Have one in the Mazda CX-5. Vent clamp is quality and does not loosen. I like the quick release button on the back that makes it easy to get the phone out. Ordered one for the Subaru. Thank you OP!

I got that for 2 dollars a few yrs ago. It still holds very well. I do adust and tighten the clip. That's all. The only drawback that the holder blocks the ac somehow.

I owned cd slot and hate it coz it damaged the seal of the slot and left a big opening. Dust went to the cd player...

If you live in Arizona, this won't survive from the summer heat. I'd two of them in two different cars, both of them lost phone release function.
