The Mx master 3 has really nice forward back buttons - a huge improvement over this one - but I just reversed the mapping because the forward button is more natural for me and I use back much more than I use forward anyway
After the mouse in my MX5500 combo died I went through quite a few Logitech mice before landing on the M510 (M710 has wrong placement as well). The forward back buttons are perfectly placed on the M510. I don't understand how a company like Logitech can screw up ergonomics so badly.
With a mouse, something you use for thousands of hours, its not worth using a bad one and if ergonomics are compromised, nothing else really matters.
The people who reviewed the same mouse on Amazon said it was the Chinese version manufactured by Lenovo, which is the same company selling this one. I didn't find your snippy response helpful at all. At the very least, I tried to help others make an informed decision by considering there might be cheaper Chinese versions out there.

Um... It's a wireless mouse. You'd have to use AA batteries otherwise. Lol
Now I just need a good looking comfortable 10 key wireless keyboard if anyone has any leads.
