This is true. It's 599. Some stores have denied the partial returns upon the tool hack methods.
Bought one on the original deal a couple of years ago. After returning all the batteries and charger I think I paid 285. Love the saw. Kind of bulky but highly efficient and has auto brake. Very nice saw.
No, the $400 was just saw + 4 batteries. The standard price was still $600 for just the saw. but there was a home depot promotion that you could get it for $400 and 4 batteries. I believe it was in store only, though. I drove to a couple home depots to track one down in stock.
