Fast forward a couple of days and we had a hot day in the upper 60's. The plastic shell cooked all the plants and killed everything inside as it was still pretty young. I'll admit it was my first run at a greenhouse type setup- so if you're used to this or have used something similar in the past- you'll do fine, just don't expect it to keep from overheating inside, like I thought it would.
The frame itself held up great like afx mentioned.

You could try making a cover using shade cloth, or they do make greenhouse plastic sheeting with UV inhibitors. They still only claim a 4 year lifespan, but that's better than only one season.

I have had one this size a few years. Wrap the joints with duct tape and anchor it in the ground with auger style tent anchors. It holds up but will rock quite a bit so move the plants inside for heavy winds. The plastic lasted about 3 years before it started to deteriorate.
