By my math, if a person waited until right before this offer expires (4/9), their 4 month subscription would last through the Summer Olympics. I don't believe they have announced what Olympics coverage will be broadcast on Peacock yet but it is expected that Peacock will have a significant amount of Olympics coverage.

These streaming services are such a scam. With so many out there now, its actually cheaper to just get cable.

Don't care about the Olympics but if I did, I'd just watch with my antenna. It is a great free option for many people. We've become so accustomed to pay tv that we forgot about the old free way of receiving crappy entertainment.

Possibly free if you have Xfinity Internet service. You can order the free Flex streaming device to get Peacock Premium for free. Login will also work on a Roku or other devices that have Peacock TV.

Possibly Cox too, but I don't have that service, so I can't confirm.

Come on. Don't post this crap. Comcrap requires you go get the flex device for *free. if you know Comcrap nothing is free.

This is a steal if you like watching the EPL. Certain games are live and all replays available the next day. Paid extra for no ads for a while but noticed most shows/movies still had ads so would not recommend upgrading.

Sure, if all you want to watch is the track events, swimming, and gymnastics, watching with your antenna is fine. But if some the less mainstream events (e.g. badminton, hand ball, water polo, etc.) are of interest, you won't find them on broadcast TV.

Yes, the first 3 movies are in the free tier and the remaining movies are in this tier. There are ads but they are pretty minimal, watched the second movie not long ago and I don't even think there was 5 minutes of ads.

Any other drawback to asking for a "flex box"? Is it another way for comcast to suck you in to get more money?
You get one Flex box free per account. If you have 300 Mbps or above switch to Xfi (300 Mbps required or higher) and you'll only pay $25 more for unlimited internet instead of the regular $50. My Flex box is unplugged as I couldn't load YouTube TV on it and a few other apps.

If anyone's planning on switching to streaming only then unlimited internet is a must for most. I average 1.7-2.0 terrabytes a month and have gone over 3 terrabytes before. Xbox games are huge now, I have Nest cams that record 24/7 in high quality on the settings and I stream on 4 TVs. My cameras and doorbell alone use 500+ gbs a month.

I wish this was true, but Sling TV ($35) plus, HBO Max ($10), Netflix ($15) Peacock ($10) Paramount ($10), Disney ($7) all for under $100 is still better than the $250 I was paying cable and the extras. Now I pick the extras I want. I can rotate through too.

2 months of HBO, then 2 months of Netflix, then back to HBO...why pay for both?? Binge watch, then rinse and repeat...

Sounds like a deal especially if you love unrealistic cop shows that have a constant supply of female cops beating up men twice their size. 👍🤣
yep. but for the most part, i could recommend "the capture" where she doesn't beat up on guys and it's actually a pretty good "law enforcement" show.

I'd rather watch something closer to reality like CHiPs or Knight rider!

there's dozens of us. dozens!

it's still one of the better deals around if you want all those channels.
maybe, I have to think about it now with cheap locast.org to cover local news and football. I don't need MSM cable news as much now with things getting back to normal. Please

I don't don't know why anyone would watch half of these channels. I'll probably write them a nasty letter about the pioneers and word of mouth, I was one of the OP in the first Directv Now thread.
