Local HD store prematurely set up a display for Dewalt - free 5.0ah max battery with tool purchase.
Assuming this breaks down into line items, expected price in parentheses with tool price then battery price.

The issue I have, is that it only has 1 setting. Just a trigger. I love Dewalt, but they are stagnating while other companies continue evolving (good, or bad).
The router might not be great for working on the car lol. All jokes aside, it's a decent router, but top heavy. ESPECIALLY if using a 5ah on it. The low profile batteries (3ah&4ah) help, but I still prefer a corded version for a mini palm router. If I was going cordless palm router, I'd go Makita. Corded, I'd go bosch Colt.
All in all, the 2 tools aren't bad, but there gave been, and will still be, better prices (if the OP is accurate).
The XR is awesome... but that atomic... oof!

This will go nicely with the DCF894B and DCF899B I got for $59 and $97 respectively after selling the batteries, chargers and bags in the kits. The 899 was in-store purchase with 11% off.
Also, this is why we can't have nice things...people who take advantage of already good deals.
because it bothers people that someone would rather not spend $100 for a product they don't need?
The best option would be to offer a gift card or you know instant discount instead of the battery but that's too easy for corporate isn't it? Simping for corporate home depot, that's a new one.
read the t&c and find out if that's what they did, companies are aware this is done and if they don't write it in that's their choice. Like HD.
