thx. looking at the current known issue from their support, look like there is still tons of sync issue. talked to a friend of mine, he mentioned how buggy it is.
Does "new subscriber only" mean that you have to setup a new account with Quicken to use it? If you take your existing quicken file and log in with a new account will it work? I don't understand what the limits are. Anyone know?
What's with this "new subscribers only" garbage? It's annoying.
It is the Comcast business model. Get new subscribers into it at a low price and then cut off online access if they don't renew subscription at whatever price they want to charge.
No surprise that Quicken and Comcast are two of the top hated companies.
They also seem to be enrolling people into auto-renewal as default with new subscriber and renewal purchases (the latter even if you choose not to in the renewal screen). Just make sure they never have your credit card on file. Or you have to call support to get off of auto-renewal. There is no way to do it on the account screens online. I am sure that is intentional.

I used Quicken Deluxe for years and it never synced properly or was even able to show my correct net worth. The final straw was them charging me $15 to re-download after a hard drive failure, even though they had a record of me owning the most recent version. I swore off Intuit products forever.
I see they sold it to a new company a few years ago but it sounds like they have the same issues.

Have you found a replacement product that you like? Many of us may be ready to switch, but don't know of a better alternative.
Wonder if you can download on another computer and then do a restore on it and bring all your old info into Quicken. I don't see why you couldn't do this. But hate the strings and enough of us don't buy it--they will have to lower price and make it user friendly without all the gimmicks.

I am using Moneydance. Can now download transactions from all my bank accounts and credit cards, the way I did with Quicken for 20 years. No way I will be paying "annual subscription" for this buggy software.

I was a Quicken user for over 15 years who switched over to a free alternative, GnuCash, last year. I got tired of Quicken's new subscription model. GnuCash is not as polished as Quicken and requires a bit of getting used to but it works for me. I can keep track of my bank accounts, expenses, and budget - nothing fancy. I simply download a qfx file from my bank and import the file into GnuCash, and then reconcile.
