This particular model has no networking of any kind built in -- just a USB connection.
A $10-$15 raspberry pi zero could be used to add wireless connectivity.

3rd party toner costs next to nothing and have never had a single issue with it. I swear it is going to outlive me at this rate.
I got a couple of these new for $50 or $60 at Best Buy back in summer 2017. They work like champs & still going strong with no issues whatsoever.

Looking at my email, I bought the Brother HL-2280DW (which also has a scanner in addition to being wireless) brand new in 2014 for $57.49. I got the Dell E310dw (which is made by Brother and uses Brother tone-r, but has more features than the one in this thread) for $49.99 in 2018. Both from Staples.
I guess if you need a printer this is good for now, but boy is it overpriced (in the grand scheme of things) for so few features and being a refurb. Time machine blah blah blah.
Have an urgent need for something basic/cheap so had to buy it
2. It is not WIRELESS
Hence No Go
I work in IT and we have these and similar models deployed all over the place. Have had one at home for a few years now. Reminds me of the old HP Lasterjet 4's that lasted for decades
Here's a super better printer. You will thank me!

people buy this one because it has cheap refills, don't care about the screen.

Give this a shot....
No shit? I bought a #3 value meal from mcdonalds 10 years ago and it was cheaper too. Weird how prices go up over time.
