I cant recommend these Brother Laser Printers enough! I have had mine (HL-2280DW) for eight years now and it still runs like a champ.

3rd party toner costs next to nothing and have never had a single issue with it. I swear it is going to outlive me at this rate.

Yeah this is only wired. It's the DW that's WiFi.

I got a couple of these new for $50 or $60 at Best Buy back in summer 2017. They work like champs & still going strong with no issues whatsoever.

From everything I can find, this model appears to be wired only. Are you sure that this works with 2.4 GHz?

These printers are workhorses. They're simple, the toner is cheap, and they just plain work. If you need a basic printer for home or want something on your desk so you don't have to walk to the main printer, this is a no brainer.

I work in IT and we have these and similar models deployed all over the place. Have had one at home for a few years now. Reminds me of the old HP Lasterjet 4's that lasted for decades Big Grin

I have the exact same issue with my HL-2270DW hooked via ethernet. Once it goes into power save mode, the printer is inaccessible. Can't print to it, ping, or go to the admin interface. It's incredibly annoying!

I've searched all over Google before asking on here. Not having any luck. Only about once a week, it will print when I want it to. Hopefully we will eventually figure it out. Frown

I tried this last weekend and didn't work so far. The CUPS doesn't have the driver for HL-2140. Looking for other solutions.

I use a brand Link Y O (sd keeps blocking it when I put the word together??) brand 3rd party ink. Occasional sales on multiples. Always cheap and reliable.
