Received mine about an hour ago.

Took only a minute to get both controls paired and a little looking around to get the Arcade Sauce Emulator pack working. The only thing I notice a little off is input timing (and it's ever so slight) so next going to update to the latest firmware. Feels like a complete steal at the $100 price mark.

Just answer his question instead of giving the typical response expected of a 6-year old when faced with a question/task... the response I am referring to is "why" . Anyways, it takes FOREVER to scroll through 1600+ games on this machine because it is a bit laggy/slow from what I have seen online; I think the simplest way to do this is to delete the *.UCE files in the UCE folder that you don't want using your computer prior to using the AddonX tool to inject the games onto the USB drive (the UCE files are the game files I believe). I just ordered this yesterday and I have not done this myself, although I plan on doing so, since some of these super old school and untranslated games I am uninterested in. Hope this helps!

-edit I was using this video for the information/reference : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaFiWJGXIFE
I too found 1000+ games too much to scroll through. I had favorite-ed a bunch and they got lost. Didn't want to do that again so ended up putting about 40 UCE files (without the COX files) on a 16GB USB. This loads faster and I can get to the games faster. CoinopsX is cool, but I feel it's more for display on a cabinet.

is there like a condensed info one of the guru can post some where and sticky it please? I am one of the fortunate people that bought it when it went back into stock for short time. waiting for it, but know I need the v4.5 and probably looking to buy a usb thumb drive?
Step 1: Order USB stick; below is a link to a reasonably priced one that is USB 3.1 and 128GB in capacity:
https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-MU...667&sr=8-2

Step 2: Google to find the CoinopsX Arcade V4.5 - Yippee-Ki-Yay saUCEy Edition and download the 36.8gb zip file.

Step 3: Download AddonX tool at:
https://www.atgames.net/arcades/release-notes/

Step 4: Watch the 7 minute and 40 second video for straightforward instructions:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaFiWJGXIFE

Step 5: PROFIT

-edit: As others have suggested you may want to update your machine to the newest firmware prior to the steps above (to update your device, select Version under Settings and follow the prompts); information on the newest updates can be found here --> https://www.atgames.net/arcades/c...re-update/

Scrolling through the games doesn't take that long if you jump by starting letter - for example, it takes 7 button pushes to get to "G" if you want to play Galaga, then you only have to scroll through a few games.
Injecting all 1600+ games onto the USB takes a LONG time, if you can bypass this and select your 150 favorite games and inject just those versus injecting all 1600 and then scrolling through the menu and favoriting all 150, even with the page down/up by letter function, will save a considerable amount of time if you really want to split hairs here about length of time using one method versus the other...

You are correct, but the very first time that you decide you want to add in game number 151 and have to rebuild, you have lost all of that saved time. When you add in game number 152, you're at a deficit.

Make sure you set your display (TV/Monitor) to "Game" mode or disable noise reduction/motion algorithms. This will probably fix the input delay.

Oh my gosh, you are ABSOLUTELY right! And every time a new version of CoinopsX Arcade comes out you have to rebuild yet again, the time deficit will continue to grow! What about if I want to delete a game, and add 3 others, or perhaps add emulation for the NES and Sega Genesis, what about if I want to favorite only a few of the games but still have the whole library intact, maybe I want to only favorite the middle game of every letter so I can quickly skip to the middle of the A or H category when needed...? Have you considered the saved time vs. deficit of all of the possibilities you can possibly come up with? Just let it go my guy, you are obviously right in every scenario, you win the internet today, congratulations... Hahahahahaha!

Nah, I didn't win it just now - I won it when I saw that you were talking about lag/delays/time required while also stating that you don't even have one yet.

I followed the steps on the youtube and then found out there is no Flash DriveX app. Does anyone know if the firmware update will fix this?

Applause

-edit: the slight delay/lag and amount of time it takes to browse the large game collection on AtGames arcade machines can be easily appreciated on the myriad of Youtube videos available (one example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZHkfL0PnwA); the time required for writing 45GB of data vs 5GB on even the quickest USB stick is also not difficult to comprehend... *served* - worst case I done EVER seen... *high fives and slaps the %&$# outta B******V* Hahaha *victory dance* laugh out loud

Despite immature replies I won't grace with a quote, a good argument for keeping the whole game list is if friends come over and say "what about this game I played and liked" and you didn't include it, suddenly your nice setup won't play games people want to see.

Who cares about the insertion time, that's what overnights are for. Better yet do both... get two thumb drives and do two setups, one for complete and one for your own curation. It's time and ten bucks a drive.

What if we cannot afford 2 thumb drives, what if my grandma's cousin wants to play ColecoVision, what if someone cares about insertion time, what if we use our computer at night and it is a Pentium II 350Mhz and cannot handle multitasking well, what if the computer goes into hibernation overnight while transferring the files, imagine the time benefit/deficit ratio then, I can barely stand the thought of it!!! Nothing like moving the goal posts and giving an example to justify the score! Brilliant!

In all seriousness however, I will actually be keeping the whole list of games as well just for that reason you mention, you never know when a buddy that comes over will want to play PuyoPuyo. Honestly, I was just giving the guy grief/trollin', from his initial reply I could tell that doing so would be easy. laugh out loud

-edit: Also, there wasn't any argument or dispute to begin with, a SD member asked if it is possible to strip out particular titles to have a shorter list of just AAA titles, I replied to their question with what I thought to be a legitimate answer while also replying to another member that didn't answer that persons legitimate question but criticized it by stating "why, [it] Is going to take time stripping the games you don't want". An equally simple and immature answer to the question of "why" would be "because"... So what if he wants just the AAA titles and would like to remove all other games manually? Their time is their time, just answer the question instead of being an SD a**hole was my point, after which, as is typical on here, another SD member joined in on the circle jerk and began to lecture me on time benefit/deficit of scrolling through the game menu vs. building/rebuilding the game list yada yada yada hahaha you damn nerds... laugh out loud

Not sure I understand your question. Are you looking for step-by-step instructions?

Is a YouTube video sufficient? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaFiWJGXIFE

Yes, you want to buy a USB thumb drive. I bought a 128 GB from Amazon for $18 like another poster here did.
