Updated to the newest firmware just to have it. Played around with ROMS a bit more and other than when you first load the stick, browsing through them is fast enough (hint, hold down B to flip fast page back or pinball button right top to flip fast page forward).

Enjoying the unit enough where I think I may hook my chromebook up with it or may do a RetroPi.

Does anyone know if you can put multiple thumb drives on a USB hub and plug it into the console?

Others have said they had problems with an SSID that had spaces in it, but then you say you're having problems wired as well.

Have you tried a reset on the unit?

So do you format and mount one by one on the console and then move them to the hub and plug the hub into the console? or does the console see the drives individually when you plug them into the hub?

On the left side under addons I can see each under it's own addons/uce folder.

Just make sure that you format the drives properly and use the Addontool for Windows to make your drive. You can't just simply plop random roms.

If you have extra room on your USB drive (57.5 GB of free space left on my 128GB after partitioning 16GB for the ATGames stuff and installing CoinOpsX v4.5), and you add another emulator such as Daphne as other users here have done...

Do the Daphne games show up intermixed with the other games? Or are they in a completely separate sub-menu?

What if you add Daphne (15.84 GB) *and*, say, NES (3.68 GB)?

As long as everything you put on it is in the correct UCE format, you should be able to mix systems and it will show up all in the same directory.

I myself had smaller drives on hand (64 gig) so I did my systems on separate drives so I'm going by what I've read.

I set it up with joy2key last night and its been awesome. Played Binding of Isaac with 2 sticks, dead cells using all 8 face buttons, and pinball using the buttons on the side. I too had to unplug the puck to get it to work correctly. Its awesome playing PC games with the stick if they make sense to use.

Cool thanks, may give it a try at some point but I found that Steam big picture mode and mapping does work for this controller within Steam. After I powered off the puck and had no bluetooth connection it worked without issue. Played myself some PinballFX3 with the pinball buttons, I wish I had more room to work with though as this thing is big. lol Also went ahead and updated with todays new firmware. After power off and and then plugging the puck back in everything was still saved including my connection through wifi and I was still logged in to Arenanet and the bluetooth sync worked flawless.
Thanks for checking all this out for us. Good to hear joy2key works great! I just installed it, but haven't had enough time to try PC/steam games with it...will try it out when I have a chance.

Received mine about an hour ago.

Took only a minute to get both controls paired and a little looking around to get the Arcade Sauce Emulator pack working. The only thing I notice a little off is input timing (and it's ever so slight) so next going to update to the latest firmware. Feels like a complete steal at the $100 price mark.
One thing I absolutely recommend is CHARGING the control deck full... it has (I believe 18650 batteries, or just one), and they ship at nominal voltage of 3.7, which sitting on shelves may have gotten much lower then that.

The unit of far more effective from all reports with a full charge for some reason, and mine took a few hours to fully charge with the included usb brick and weird usb a male to usb a male cable....

Never plug the usb stick into the control surface, that usb port is for charging only.

always plug it into the puck, and if you have more then one stick, obviously use a hub. Smilie

I tried CoinopsX witha 64gb and it ran out of space? Partioned first part at 16gb and it ran out while doing the builds?
16 gb is just what random streamers use. I did a 4 gig and it's fine. In reality, the system uses like a meg total so a smaller partition is fine.
