Literally every lock looks easy to open when TheLockpickingLawyer gets a hold of it lol!
It's like puting some garage sale used golf clubs in Tiger Woods hands, of course he's going to make them look amazing, just like ANY lock looks easy to pick when LPL has a go at it.

All your trying to do is make yours less appealing to steal than the next one. Slap on two or more locks it makes your bike too much of a hassle unless your in sf or New York because they will be gone so quick regardless of how many locks.
We all need to just take a cue from the Dutch or the Chinese and just ride simpler bikes that nobody wants to steal...
True. Or if you don't need the bling factor, just hit your bike with spray paint in your favorite color. A lot lighter than a full Krypto NY lock set and it makes your bike all but invisible to thieves, even if unlocked for short periods. (E.g. running in to pick up takeout or dropping off mail, etc.)
I spent years in a major city commuting on very nice bike that I built and rattle-canned with no issues. Another buddy of mine wrapped his frame with spent tubes. I've seen others swap downtube stickers with "Huffy" stickers - there are lots of ways to skin a cat. Especially now with plasti-dip spray paint that can be peeled off.

You're not wrong, but this is still not a very secure lock. See that 45 degree angle "bent foot" on the right side of the U? That's something that Kryptonite advertises as a "feature" when in reality it's a weakness. It means you only have to make a single cut to get this lock open, whereas better locks with two shackles require two cuts, and therefore twice the time. You might think that's insignificant, but I have literally caught a thief in the act of cutting my bike lock with an angle grinder. He was already finished with the first cut, and was working on the second when I turned a corner. If I had been using this lock, he would have already been gone when I got there.
HOWEVER, $15 is a great price for this lock. If you have a cheap bike and don't live in a big city, go for it. Any Kryptonite U-lock is miles better than any other lock in this price range. But if you spent a lot on your bike, or if you live in a place like NYC where bike theft is a big problem, get something better.

To top it all off, grinder and bolt cutter attacks are far more likely.
I mean if they're literally picking that lock, they probably want the lock lol

Someone who has the money and drive to buy up the number of lock cores necessary to practice to become as good as LPL would not be stealing bikes.
