Why do you need a number to do this?
So that you can get a Free Iphone SE or get like $800 off the iPhone 12 (requires trade in).

I can feel the flames already, but, are customers who came to T-Mobile in the Sprint acquisition eligible for this offer?

Go to bestbuy and get Ting mobile sim kit for $10... Activate on Flex plan for $10 a month... To get account number and pin contact support by chat or email. They reply fairly quickly.
I got lucky with the SIM kit as I got like 10 when they were selling for $1.
This works immediately?

Call in and try. It sounds like "probably, yes". It will depend on your plan. Not all t-mobile customers qualify

Why does this say in the wiki -
TODAY IS THE LAST DAY FOR THIS PROMO AS WELL AS THE IPHONE PROMOS.
If you are using a phone promo on the free line that requires a port in, you MUST complete the port in by end of day TODAY, March 23rd.

You don't have to port in today, you have 14 or 30 days to do so. The reps encourage you to do it right away to avoid billing mess but its not a hard and fast rule to do the port in on the same day the promo ends.
Am I missing something ? Please correct me if I am.

Anyone with TMO1TI2 has more than 8 voice lines? Without changed the soc code? I was in tmo store last week for the free stuff and the guy ask my phone number if I want to add a line, I reply I already have max voice lines and then he said no you can add a line and show me the screen for my account, voice lines have 8/15 currently, and MI have 1/20, is it really I can add a line without any change?

Thanks,
now the only thing that worries me is, I submitted the Costco BYOD $150 rebate with the number I got in Costco (as a free line), but later on I Ported-in a Visible number on top of it for that iPhone-12 on US promo.
So will Costco (http://www.mypromochoice.com/) still approve it since THAT number is no more active (after the port-in)?
You can annotate/edit the rebate on mypromochoice. I did that before. I sent them an email/extra submission telling them I ported a number in regards to submission #xyz. Never heard back but the shop card came through.

I just got confirmed with TMO customer support. We have 30 days to complete the port-in number. The only requirement is to place the iphone order by today (3/23).
