I read that post wrong. IP8 is the cheapest. Picked it up for $155 on the bay to realize the promo was ending tonight and needed the IMEI number ASAP.

The seller didn't respond so had to find a seller that was willing to give the IMEI number once I made the purchase.

Now I gotta refuse delivery on the first phone I ordered on the bay.

All worked out in the end but what a headache.
If you gave them an IMEI for trade in and then later switched phones you are fine. They will update the IMEI and update the trade in accordingly. Just take a picture of the new IMEI from the new phone before you send it in.

Nothing to worry about. I have done it in the past with the iphone 6 and realized that I can buy an iphone 7 or 8 dont remember for cheap and get an extra $300 or $400 in rebate

The grace period allows you to add promos for new lines as long as the promo was running at the time you added the line.
So that means we can still add the free iPhone SE because that promo was running at the time we got the Free Line, correct??

Not sure about this, never tried. Contact T-Force and see if they are able to access and apply. I've tried to add new promos and was shut down. I've also successfuly added promos that were still running and were running when I added line.

I'm under the impression that there is 14 days grace period from day of adding the line.
We'll see as I am trying to add the promo now via T Force but they are taking hours to respond to each question.
You guys are right about the promo needed to be active when the line was activated. But I don't think it's limited to 14 days either. Exec Care told me last summer that I could still add the long running S20 deal almost 2 months after opening the account/lines simply because the deal had not expired and it was active the day I opened the lines.

I was told that any promo can be added later (not sure how much "later" but at least within a month or so) as long as that promo is still active. So If you have added the free line already then you are good to proceed with the other (active) promos. Just contact them FB messenger !

Good info

I'll check the device to make sure it's in good trade condition before I refuse delivery of the first phone I ordered.

If the phone is under a 24 month RDC you still can use it with any line right?

Doesn't specifically have to be with the new line you open.

Do I understand that correctly?

sure it can.

I have done so numerous times in the past.

Upgrade on Line1 and use phone on Line2.

However, the installment and credits remain on the line of purchase.

I have not found out yet. Someone in Reddit said he was successful. I have the nu.ber ready to be ported, just waiting for the phone to arrive and will find out.

Update: just ported in using chat, and I see the credit applied in my promotions.
Did your new phone shipped yet?
