For a metal base, cross braces at each corner are a warning sign. It means that none of the angles in the metal base are pre-welded, to save on packaging and shipping costs. The entire metal structure is held together with just screws. That in turn means that it will get wobbly over time.

I'm going to keep an eye on this one thanks for the heads up!! I like it in black, it will force me to dust more often lol! I like how they have a laptop, an All In One then a PC that has nothing hooked up to it.... That cracks me up!!

I got the 47" version for $42 with the code. It came Friday. Assembly was a piece of cake. One of the threaded metal inserts in the desktop broke free from its adhesive/glue/epoxy, but a little wood glue held it in. To be honest, that's the only one I really cranked on. It's definitely sturdy, and comfortable dimensions.

Bought one of these under a different brand name and it's a good desk. Looks nice enough and not too fragile surface it seems. Paid $60. The guy holding a lighter flame to it to demonstrate the heat resistance is pretty funny
