In a nutshell: if you can wait for the 6800u to go back to $199 @Costco, do that. Or if you can wait for the A8 to be $249 also at Costco, also better (will probably happen sooner than the 6800u as it just went back to regular price a month ago.)
But beyond that, it's not awful for $199.
$199 is kinda my own personal mental limit for a bidet and I own a 6800, but would like one or two more for the house... I just missed the last 6800u sale (misread the expiration by a day I guess because I went to buy it and it had ended.)
So I've considered grabbing one of these too. But I'll probably hold out for a 6800u.
Same here legs fell asleep too quick...Get a squatty potty, helps you poop easier, legs dont fall asleep so fast, good elbow on legs phone position,
better position for deep brown star cleaning..
(Typed from bidet with squatty potty.)
I have owned this exact model for a year. I have had zero issues and it has worked very well.
I did a fair amount of research and I think it's a great value at $199. You really won't find anything that has more features without spending at least double this amount.
Heated seat (adjustable), heated water (adjustable), heated dryer (adjustable), water pressure (adjustable) , massage function, night light, etc...

As someone who has sorta been considering bidets... Is this a decent one? It heats the water internally, which was the #1 feature that I figured I should be looking for.

Hi Stormleader42 Here's a link to the Previous FP Deal for reference.

I bought the 6800u from Costco last year when the hoarders started with the toiler paper shortage, and never looked back. By far one of the best home improvements ever. Super easy install, and zero issues. Adjustable water and seat temp makes it whatever is comfortable to you. I hate that aspect of traveling now since I know where i'm staying won't have one.
I've had this for a year and overall I love it. The only thing about it for me is that the seat puts my legs to sleep if I sit on it more than about 5 minutes or so (I like to take my time on the throne scrolling through SD and the news when I get up in the morning). Aside from that, it's fantastic.

I have this as well, it's awesome. If you want a bidet, I would not agonize over all the features between 20 manufacturers and attempt to figure out what X may have vs. Y, get this and be done and happy.
I just need the heating option ( wife complains every morning). Any recommendations?
This doesn't really answer your question directly but look carefully at the electrical requirements for a souped up, fancy bidet with a heated seat. You may need a separate circuit with a GFCI to power it. The NEC made changes for 2020 and there are further restrictions on where you can have an electrical outlet in a bathroom. I would look into this aspect first, before buying your bidet. You would hate to buy a fancy one with all the bells and whistles and then have to spend a few hundred more to hire an electrician to wire it up properly (unless you can do this yourself)
