This really isn't a Slick Deal from what I've seen as this seems to be the everyday price at Sam's. Regardless I bought it last week and I can say it is much more flimsy and cheaply made than the Keter 135 gallon box I bought last year from Home Depot. It's definitely a good price but lots of people seem to be complaining about the overall quality and the box top curling and getting deformed and I think it is a legitimate concern based on my own observations about the cheap quality of the materials used. On the bright side we had a torrential rainstorm the day I put it together and when I opened it the next day there was not a drop of water inside so hopefully it will maintain it's shape and the lid will remain flat and continue to be able to seal out water over time.
I sprayed all of my wicker patio furniture with 303 Protectant in hopes that it improves longevity under punishing Las Vegas summers.

It's supposed to be one of the better (clear) sprays out there to protect against sun damage.

I paid $99 for the 135 gallon last year. Also I just sat on my newly purchased 165 gallon box and while it does easily support my 200 pound body weight the plastic is noticeable more flimsy than the 135 gallon. It's NOT a bad product but I am concerned about how long it will last after a year or two sitting outside. Read the 1 star reviews on the website and then make your own decision on whether or not you are willing to take a chance on this.

I bought the 150 Lifetime brand unit from Costco, instead. $99 and well built.

Thanks. Please give me update comparison on build quality of lifetime and Keter
They are similar in thickness of the plastic walls — thin. I prefer the keter better because of the end caps that's included seems to make it a bit stronger. Plus, the LifeTime box needs more tools and time to put together. The Sam's that I went to sold out, but I was able to see the floor model. I don't think neither will last in the hot cold weather for too long.

It's because Wal mart has the cheapest plants in China making the all products so cheap they are defective, I got sams club recently what a joke of a store! It's like a cheaper version of Costco but smaller selections cheaper products but higher prices and crappy return policies. Not to mention the clients that shop there are your typical wal mart shoppers as well.
Scary how bad some products they make and can even sell here.

I've gotten bitten twice by Keter products (Gotta say their in-store displays are effective marketing!), and have returned both items. Have had a ton better luck with Lifetime and Suncast Lawn/Garden/Patio products.

In the store is priced $99. I got one a few weeks ago. The sign didn't show any $ off. It is best to have two persons put it together.
Thx will check in store. In your experience how many cushions fit inside one. Thx again

Imagine living in a world where an outdoor tub to store your stuff in is $100 and that's a good deal. That's where we're at folks. Welcome to the future.

this past weekend I walked by 3 of these at my local sams. all of them had parts of the top cracked or pieces broken off. Single season garbage.

.. Kind of reminds me of "LifeTime" brand stuff which seem to be built for the lifetime of a male fly.

I have the Keter from Costco a few years ago and it's an excellent deck box. Some spiders have found their way inside, but overall I've never had any issues with it.

I was waiting for Costco to get these in-stock again this year, because I needed another, but they got the Lifetime one this year. I grabbed a Lifetime, because I needed one this year and not down the road and it looked to be decent quality. I put the Lifetime together this weekend and it's sturdy, but it's not anywhere near the quality of the Keter. The Lifetime has a little lip that you need to get the cover to go over, and since this darn thing flexes, you have to smack each corner and hope it drops down - the Keter, I don't have this problem. I also feel like I could stand on the lid of the Keter and have no problems, but the Lifetime I feel would collapse.

After putting together my lifetime, I also noticed that the long panels are flexed/bowed inward a bit, causing no seal with the lid. This is no good and an issue that I do not have with the Keter.

I've never had water issues with my Keter, but I've heard of people siliconing the corners for a tighter seal.

Definitely get a lock for the box, if not to keep unneeded eyes out of your stuff, but to keep the lid from flying open in the wind. I found my lid wide open on a windy day, so I plopped a heavy object on top for now and plan to get a cheap lock, even if I don't lock it, so it can keep the lid down.

Just put one of these together and my god what a horrifically poor effort they put into ensuring a solid build. So much depends on all the pieces fitting together PERFECTLY- and there aren't many pieces - yet the warping, bent plastic guides, and complete lack of markings on the pieces make this thing a joke. At the VERY least, they could make an indication line on side panels that would allow you to know the side pieces and top cap are in all the way. If the FLIMSY plastic tongue style grooves weren't so easily (out of the box) warped, it wouldn't be an issue, but rest assured every shortcut was taken with this. Do not buy it. You can tell the original design was probably pretty solid, but the cost-cut the heck out of it and made into junk. I did get it together and its now level and square, but it doesn't meet any level of quality expectations. There is no chance of it being critter proof at all.

Just checked and was able to order this online for shipping. I get free shipping since I'm a plus member, but some stores had it in stock as well
