Sweet. Had yttv in the past and it was my favorite. Dumped it for hulu live only for the Marquee Network, to watch the Cubs. Hulu then got rid of Marquee so was planning on going back to yttv anyway.

Spoke with a Google Support agent - For any current YouTube TV customers who also have T-Mobile - you can cancel in the middle of your YTTV sub and still have access until the end of the billing cycle - then sign up/reactivate again through T-Mobile promo link. DVR recordings are kept for 21 days after access expires and as long as your subscription is activated within those 21 days, you won't lose any DVR recordings.

Second downside is when you DVR a show, it just saves every single season that's out there in the universe. It does not save the newest episodes only. Plus you cannot mark seasons of shows or individual episodes as watched.

You can mark them as watched if you use access it on your PC.

Im currently grandfathered in on philo's $16/mo plan. So I'd have to cancel that to sign up for the $10/mo plan that after 1 year would probably become $20/mo.

not sure its worth it in my case - save $6/mo for 12 months, then likely have to pay $4/mo above my current price afterwards.

I had YTTV before the price hike. I switched to FuboTV because they had all the sports networks for the same price.

No. I get billed a flat 64.99/mo and live in a heavily taxed state. This $10/month savings is awesome.
But I wish there was better clarity on how this deal will be rolled out, for existing YTTV subscribers. Like other comments, would like to not have to cancel and resign up. If I do, does anyone know if service is pro-rated, so I get refunded back the partial month of the billing cycle? Would be ideal not to have to time this.

Would that work? TIA for any advice. I am fairly new to this kind of stuff, having recently ditched cable, so not sure of all of the nuances and possible workarounds involving YTTV.

I split YouTube tv with a friend in another house hold. There is no way around the limit as far as I know. If a 4th person logs in it will boot someone else off automatically. It is nice that you can create each person their own profile and they get a private login so you do not have to share your passwords

Having 6 profiles is awesome even though the limit is three streams which is lame. Being is the same state is necessary so you're good there. 3 streams is the hard limit, no way around it but if you're using say the ESPN app as a 4th stream and they're tying up 3 streams using YT TV I would think you'll be OK, I've never actually tried that though as it's never been needed. My two bros are in the same state, same county even but that shouldn't matter as long as each state is just one "area" which I think it is, they're in different households and one is single and the other is married but probably only watches on one TV at once (no kids yet). I'm literally the only one in my household of 5 that watches YT TV, wife and kids don't stray from YouTube, Netflix or Disney+ at all.

YT TV does block access on the 4th device when using the YT TV app.
