Home Depot has this ladder on sale again for $149, regularly $239. Plenty in stock at my local stores.

10 stores in the Phoenix area have it in stock at $149, but some are reporting full price in their areas.

The price is $239 everywhere I can find online (via brickseek or directly at HD website).

Is there anything special you had to do to get the deal? Is it in-store only?

Probably a good deal but I wish it was the IAA 375lb rated version.

Strange... 10 stores in the Phoenix area all show $149. I'll change this to YMMV.

I bought the 18' Gorilla multi-position ladder for $79.88 from a SD at Home Depot last November, so it seems like this ladder could be a little cheaper honestly.
I've had 2 multi-position ladders from Harbor Freight. The Gorilla ladder is built better, seems more solid, and is much lighter. So I definitely will stick with Gorilla going forward.

Thanks, just grabbed one for this price in Nashville. There were a couple still left showing at this price when checking nearby stores right on the Home Depot website for the middle TN area.

nope, they're an idiot. look at their other posts if you want to be aggravated even more by them. Complete BS out of a new account. Not even sure why I looked but this person is herpes of society, just don't look at them and act like they don't exist.

I had the 17' reach one. It was sturdy and solid. However, you need to wear solid sole shoes, like work boots, because the steps are about an inch wide. If not, you can do damage to your feet. I ripped one of the soles out of a brand new pair of Reeboks on a job, climbing a ladder like this. I got plantar fasciitis from it. A standard ladder's steps are at 3" wide.

This is a great price for this ladder - can confirm the price is valid in South Florida.

Literally every highly adjustable aluminum ladder has 1-1/4" steps. That goes for these Little Giant competitors and telescoping ladders. No, you shouldn't ever wear soft-soled shoes or flip flops when climbing any ladder. If you want big, wide steps so you don't hurt your footsies while climbing barefoot, you'll have to go with a non-adjustable ladder. At lower adjustments the ladder rungs double up to give you a better footing, however. Ya'll have me rollin my eyes back so hard it's a wonder I was able to write a reply.

can anyone comment on quality vs. werner? last time this came up i decided to wait until a werner deal popped up on SD... well, i have a couple different projects that are out of my reach on my 8 ft ladder and unless werner is far and away better, i may have to bite.

No idea against Werner. But I like the quality so much and bought two. one 22 ft @375lb and one 18 ft @300lb. Bought both at $100 each I think. Will be surprised to see those price again.
