Getting this one and returning the 18'.
I paid $240 for this 2 weeks ago, the $99 18-footer wouldn't have been enough.
Just price adjusted in-store at HD.
Thanks SD!

This is my go to ladder (well…the 3 rung version). Built in solid work platform. I like the little giant version with the screw on top.

Just wish it had built in leveling feet.

I have tried mix matching the sliding rails between the 2 but it won't work Frown

If I pick up from store, would it be in a box or wrapped in plastic?

Most likely not. I picked one up tonight. None of the ladders at this HD (or any I've seen) are in boxes or wrapped

This Gorilla ladder or the Little Giant from Costco: https://www.costco.com/little-gia...00838.html

If 4 feet less reach isn't a dealbreaker, which one is better?

Thanks

I own a Gorilla and a Little Giant. I feel like the build quality and weight are better on my similar-height Gorilla.

These rarely go on sale. Been watching the MPXT version (the yellow thing is awesome) for 18mo and now it's not on the website.

The Costco would be more versatile. The ability to use the leveler foot if you have any uneven ground is a huge help. I borrowed someone's little giant ladder and we live on the side of a hill and that leveler foot made the job so much quicker not having to keep finding a position to site the ladder on stable ground.

Does anyone know what the fully shortened height of the 22' is for transport? The Q&A indicates the 18' goes down to 55", but I didn't find details for the 22'.

I have a 17" costco Little Giant from years ago. Also wanted something above 20. Went ahead an pulled the trigger. I guess I got to clean the gutter now that I can reach them safely.

Same situation here. Need to be able to reach 2nd floor of house and 17' LG just can't reach safely. In 4 1.

Look closely at these for scratches and dings...went the other day and a neighbor was in the market for a ladder and some were in tough shape so look before you buy..

For jobs around my former 1 story home and current 2 story colonial , the 18' does not have enough reach. I already have one at 22' and I've been waiting a long time for the same to go on sale - family member needs one - so - off to HD today. Thanks OP!

---update--- picked one up. not wrapped or boxed. When I returned home I realized that the one I have from years ago is the 375# rated model, a bit heavier duty - was a $99 BF deal at the time - those days long gone. This one is 300# rated and a bit lighter. Still a reasonable deal but perhaps not quite as slick as I hoped.
