I picked up the 18ft for $80 shipped last fall. Its not too heavy.

The gorilla ladder has some plastic parts, but seems to be good enough and covered by warranty.

The little giant ladders ive used appear to be better built.

I want to say the low price on this is $99, or it's the low price of a similar one from Werner, with the same length and weight rating.

YMMV for my area at least. Here's a brickseek link [brickseek.com] for those who want to check.

Paid $99 for the older version of this 22ft ladder a few years back. Definitely heavier than an a-frame or an extendable ladder but unless your using it every day it won't make a big difference. I keep a small a-frame for indoor stuff.

I bought one last black Friday and I've been redoing my soffits around the house and absolutely love it! I would rather have it versatile (bendy in many ways) than the relatively heavy and long/hard to maneuver Werners that I have.

If you can't lift it, then maybe that's cool for you. I'm sure there's some aluminum 5' ladder that might be more manageable for you.

This is a pretty solid ladder for the price, but this seems like it's becoming the going rate for it. There was a post about it last week. The 22ft is pretty unwieldy and unnecessary for most homeowners. That said, having an 11ft a-frame is pretty nice for outdoor or vaulted indoor overhead lights, but you need to ask yourself how often you'll need it for that. Personally, for these larger ladders, I'd much prefer the 375lb capacity ones for the stability alone.

God why would you ever buy a house with soffits??🤮 Turns out at my home depot store they are tied down with a metal cable.
