If you read some reviews, it looks like this company is horrible at honoring their offers. Some people complain about not getting their advertised promotion gift cards. Not worth the potential loss in $50 in my opinion.
However, if they do give you the $50 back, solid deal.

Just tried activating mine - Nope - no time credit so stopped the activation and will wait 72 hours - but this seems very iffy to me...

I'm guessing the confusion is the fact they mention "device" multiple times in the conditions/instructions. In this case, the SIM card is the "device", but that's not overly clear.

These are Tracfone companies so you will have to wait for 24 to 72 hours or until whenever they get the promo working. Likely the people that handle their promos just found out about this today and they are trying to get all the appropriate SIM numbers sold by Amazon entered into their system.

I've been with Tracfone for years, this is how they operate.
