Effective on April 1, 2021, you can be reimbursed for your repair or replacement costs following damage or theft up to $800 per claim w/ a limit of 2 approved claims per 12-month period when your cell phone line is listed on a wireless bill and the prior month's wireless bill was paid by the Eligible Card account

Only the Platinum card. Also this is in-house cell phone insurance by Amex, Visa and Mastercard's cell phone insurance is administered 3rd party and they are a pain to deal with

Only high-end AMEX cards with ridiculously high yearly fees and yet so many thumbs up.

I guess so many here on SD's to save fifty cents on a deal, but have very high incomes and don't blink an eye spending $500 on annual fees. Go figure.

Agree. I've filed two claims with WF. Only difference is WF only covers up to 600 per claim, 2 per 12 month period.

Can anyone comment on whether it's worth it to cancel my T-Mobile 360 coverage and just go with this if I end up needing it? Also the terms state that cosmetic scratches aren't covered. I assume that a screen crack would qualify?

So does that mean if I buy the phone from Apple, but use it on Verizon, I'm not eligible? Technically Apple can initiate activation.
No. Apple can initiate so they'd be covered.
