I'm sure there are shill posts out there, but having said that I have two of these. They hold a couple of 27" monitors with much better results than I expected for around $25. It was easy to remove the logos so they don't look half bad, and they feel substantial. At this price point (which it seems to regularly drop to) I would recommend this without hesitation.
It actually doesn't matter if they're posted a lot, right?.. Lot of these are quite well made. I have several mounts, pneumatic and not, and the metal and parts and solution is quite top-tier. In the last few years, a lot of the Chinesiums leave no room for complaints, in Electronics or metalworking/mounts etc.

I am going to order one just for the SD collection in garage. $24 is right within SD buy first ask questions later range.. for a VESA mount with all the hardware.. You can't have too many of these, cables etc. . There was a time you could only get Ergotron or Humanscale mounts that cost 5x more than this..
I have this monitor arm, I do not recommend. I still use it, but it's specs are exaggerated. It cannot handle 19.8lb, I have a 15lb monitor and the joint closest to the monitor (for tilting the monitor up/down) cannot support the weight, thus you have to over correct it and hope that it falls to the correct angle. No amount of tightening resolved it for me. It's an affordable gas monitor arm, and for that, it's not bad, but the bright yellow logo, terrible cable management offerings, and poor support for larger monitors is a no for me.
Don't let my review sway your decision if you're already 90% sure you want it, this is for a niche group of users using 27" or larger monitors or people on the fence about purchasing

It is an even more generic brand than North Bayou that is on the lightning deal but good if you need the dual setup:

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this. I have both single and dual monitors and both of them are rock solid with no swing. If you are on fence, go for it.

Ugh, this mount does not fit the Tresanti standing desk from Costco due to walls of the desk. Anyone have workarounds for this? Add spacers?

I'm guessing this is for newer monitors? Mine doesn't have the four holes that are used to screw in the plate (in the video).

Any monitor with VESA mount support, even old ones. Sometimes the holes are hidden, or an adapter is available, but a few just don't have the holes. Check your manual.

I have two of these on two glass top stand-up desks holding two 27-in monitors. I just used a piece of wood as a spacer since the bottom of the desk wasn't flat and had the lip around it. If you have a monitor with VESA mounting provisions, I don't think you'll find a better arm for the money. It's very substantial, operates smoothly, and has good cable management.

No, you do not.

I have two of these for 27 inch monitors, I just got a 34 inch ultrawide that is at the top of the weight limit for this and, while it will hold my monitor in position, I'm getting something sturdier because the wobble is insane now. Just an FYI

Ok, I'd probably opt to bolt it down either way. BTW, how would you determine if an alternative arm is more sturdy? By design? By specs?

Yes. Different arms have different gas lifts and tension mechanisms, may be rated for higher weights, etc.

I used these arms with 27 inch monitors clamped to the desk and they did great

How did you remove the ugly logo?
The logos are kind of a puffy sticker - I think there were two on each arm. Just used a fingernail to pop them off, and then cleaned the spot with a little rubbing alcohol. Took about 2 minutes to remove both.

Just installed this mount on a Dell 30in monitor at 16lbs weight. Only had to tightened the up/down screw for the upper end of weight range. Pretty study for a good price.

The VESA mount on my LG monitor is recessed about 5mm, and the X bracket on this was too big to fit into the recess.
Add some standoffs. I've got a bunch of standoffs from a TV mount I bought. You can also make your own, perhaps with some PVC pipe, or many other things. Maybe 4 small pieces of wood with holes drilled in them. Whatever you can find and make work.
