To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Yes that was me. T-force said to not touch your plan, including the data option changes 🤷; on the 18th the free unlimited data will kick in (I presume it's an added data option). Only lines on your grandfathered plan before today will be eligible.

I have 9 lines, 7 already with unlimited high speed data w/ 10GB LTE hotspot, one with just 10GB LTE (so this will get the free upgrade), and one that I paid $15/mo for unlimited data (unfortunately this one will likely not get it since it already has the "paid" unlimited high speed data option) - this line missed it last time too because I had the $15 unlimited high speed data option, oh well.
Confused. If I'm on T-Mobile One plus plan with unlimited on all lines and upgrade one line by trading iPhone 6 in will I end up not having unlimited on that line and screw my whole plan?

Everyone, breathe. You didn't get screwed. You're not paying or losing anything. T-Mobile simply is giving everyone that's not already unlimited to unlimited. Do you expect them to drop everyone to the cheapest plan? Because if they make it "fair" for you, then how is it fair for someone on an unlimited plan, whether simple choice, one, or magenta? Or how is it "fair" some people are paying $300+ per month for 10 lines when a few are paying sub-$100 for 10 lines? Should they just grandfather everyone to a plan from 5 years ago?

It's a you gain unlimited on all limited lines and pay the same.

Data doesn't matter. Lines matter. Drop the $20 or $15 unlimited asap. The line has to be established before 4-7-21 not the data. The Data will be an add on option under manage data. Currently my only options are 6gb and 10gb data stash. $15 and $30. Those will to away and the unlimited free option will be added. Chill people wait till the 18th and your dreams will come true.

YMMV depending on state, but for me paying $23 in tax for a trade in of $5 tracfone flipper to an A32 is well worth the effort (even if bill credits, lol I know)
I'm taking about paying tax on $830 "free" iPhone 12 (with iPhone 11 trade-in)

If you do drop your data option, why not just do it in the app or online (my.t-moible.com) yourself? Faster, you're in control, and less chance of messing up.

I found a list of all the SOC codes including data addons

https://docs.google.com/spreadshe...1340439917

The code he posted for Unlimited 4G with 10GB hotspot addon for $0 is 10SFMGB

Look towards the bottom there are a bunch of Unlimited High speed data with XX GB hotspot addons. If I don't get the free upgrade come 4/18 on my line with paid option I'll unenroll and try to get an executive CSR to add one of those with $0 cost
Wow this is awesome, I think I may have a few codes that I can add to it.

congrat on getting it.

may I know a little bit more detail, via DM off course?
I mean everything should be finalized today. She said she wanted to make sure its stuck. So I'm hoping it all worked out. She had to work with the offline team.

Correct. Think it is a return on investment, those who invested early and stayed on get rewarded.

I'll wait until April 18 to see. No biggie. I'm chilling. I've done this a couple times in past and dropping it didn't take effect until the next bill cycle and my next bill cycle is after the 18th so even if I unselected that option now it still shows as active on the 18th. I sure as hell will not contact T-Mobile to mess with my account to drop it immediately knowing how they have a tendency to screw up stuff, like switching plans.
If I don't get it for that paid addon line I'll just drop later and use one of the SOC codes I found; that was my problem before I didn't have a code to give them to try to get unlimited high speed data for free
