To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

Yes this has a new CPU that supports 5g.. but everything else seems to be a watered down a32

i ordered one for my backup phone but received a SMS saying the value of my trade in is $0.... but on receipt it shows the "trade in all devices promotion".. anyone else have this issue?
Yes, my online order trade in let me select 5G all devices promotion for the model/make areas. Without that you wouldn't get the device credits.

So, iPhone flippers/resellers,
what do you think makes more sense from the market value point of view?
trading-in iPhone-7 for 415 credit or trading-in iPhone-11 for 830 credit against a new iPhone12?
I have both but not sure which trade-in makes more sense...lol
I mean I can also do BOTH if you think both are kinda great deals !!!
I think both are great trade

At some level I honestly don't really care about those posters themselves; they can believe they know better and it doesn't affect me any. There's just a lot of other people here reading this thread that could benefit from a semi-neutral, hopefully educated, semi-respectful reply to ridiculous posts. Four year old Galaxy A5 blowing away the Galaxy A32 LMAO.
Feel free to drop your shiny new A32 in water. You'll cry.

Oh, and I have 2 freebie Nord 10s from Metro (along with 2 Samsung A21s) in a drawer awaiting auto unlock in a couple of months that blow this thing out of the figurative Geekbench water.

The old phone you traded in has no value to T-Mobile so the $0 is normal.

If your phone had any value, say you traded in a Pixel XYZ that they valued at $200, you would've gotten a one time $200 credit on the upcoming bill and they would've given you $82 balance over 24 months as monthly credits (to sum up to the $282 value of the phone, making it "free"). In your case, there's no one time bill credit because your phone had no value so you'll get $282 credited over 24 months.

That's wonderful! I'm happy for you that you got great deals on Nord 10s from Metro. Looks like Metro by T-Mobile has been a great pre-paid provider for you. Fantastic Geekbench scores btw, thanks for the link!

And yes, I would not want to drop any phone in water that is not water proof. Not likely I'd cry if that happened because these phones are free and I could use one of the other 4 I have (and these are all backups anyways) but it is a good reminder to be careful around water.

No such thing will happen just because you bought a phone. You're good.

Haha, I'm doing both! Will probably sell one of my 12s and upgrade my father on the other one. And yes, its definitely a great deal!

Edit - my older one is an iPhone 8 which I got free as part of a t-mobile promo from a few years ago. So double win!

I'm not a prepaid customer. I was a Metro customer for less than a a month before I ported out to Visible on all 4 lines where I made another $400 in Mastercard gift cards before cancelling. Earlier, my "free after credits" postpaid TMo S21 5G cost me a total of $200 for buying a trade-in phone from Swappa. All SD deals.

Previously, I got paid $400 to buy my Samsung A5 in Canada.

So, this "deal" ain't much of one considering the relative crappiness of the A32. Unless you're already tied into TMo for years.

If your mom cancels the plan or you switch carriers you'll have to pay the remaining balance. For example if you cancel after 1 year you'll have to pay half of the $282 = $141.
Otherwise the bill may just show phone payment plan of $11.75 a month with a $11.75 a month credit. It might show a remaining balance as a reminder that it's not paid off yet.
