Might be unlocked since when you buy you don't have to link it to an account unlike the other iPhone se deal Walmart has which you had to link to a Verizon account. If not you can use it on Verizon most likely. Also buy online because if you buy in store the troc guy will most likely make you get a plan and activate it. You can still do curbside I believe though.

Is it true you only have to initially turn on the phone with the included Verizon sim in it, wait for 60 days and get it unlocked without having to pay for any services?
Verizon prepaid is different from postpaid (which unlocks after 60 days) because they're "subsidized" and can't even be used in Verizon postpaid unless either fee is paid, account reloaded with certain amount and there's a third option I think but it will be in the back of the package or at least it should be mentioned somewhere in the terms I think.
You might try 3rd party unlock but haven't checked lately how much they cost on fleabay.
Keep in mind even after it's unlocked by different than legit Verizon terms they might not accept it in their postpaid if their system won't show it cleared the requirements (it will block it but might not be immediately).
Verizon marks the device in their system as prepaid so as such it needs to meet the requirements of the prepaid before able to use on postpaid but even then they might fork things over on their end so I wouldn't rely much on them)
I read all the comments. can anyone confirm this phone works/ doesn't work with a verizon post paid connection? and can't be unlocked? I already ordered two phones 😟

Even I'm waiting for an answer. I'm picking up my order tomorrow. I will ask the Walmart people before accepting the pickup and also try to call a nearby verizon store to explore options. I'll keep you posted and also could you keep me posted on any updates or tricks from your side ??

Also from what I'm seeing and hearing, we need to get a prepaid sim card connection for the 1st 60 days ($35/month x 2). Then the phone gets unlocked. Here some say it's unlocked for postpaid connection (has to be used in verizon network for the remainder 10 months) and some say it's open to be used in any network.....

I don't have any accurate info too. My guess is that, like folks said in this thread, it may be used only in prepaid connection. Otherwise there would have been 100s of comments on this thread. There is very less activity on this thread for a reason. That's my guess.
