Paid twice this amount last year. My youngest still plays with this from time to time. He uses the book as a float for his army men. The duck gets playtime too.
This has value at this price because it's the Pigeon. The book and toy itself is probably worth less.

Plenty don't (sort by newest, I can't filter out just staff posts- so some user posts are there as well). But if you should ever find a better deal than what we are posting (we always try to post best deal) please let us know.

It's their website... and it's free to use... don't like a product or have an interest? Don't click it. Pretty simple logic.

that's a horrible logic.. it's like if facebook employees want to spread hate crime propaganda on facebook, they are allowed to do so coz its their website..
It is about what the company claims, which is crowd sourcing of information on whether a deal is good or not. I agree with sarcasmogratis.. the staff votes and comments should not be included in whether a deal makes it to popular/frontpage or not.
We are all on this portal to get the best bang for the buck and at the same time, get value out of the community's voice.. if that voice now has an ulterior motive, the whole idea behind the popularity of slickdeals is broken!
