Also, remember to check you local grant and incentive programs. In my area, San Joaquin Valley, CA, any battery powered trimmer over $100 you can submit for a $50 rebate. Worth researching. All kinds of offers for lawn mowers, edgers, chainsaws.. have worked for me! http://valleyair.org/grants/cgym.htm

I bought the Husqvarna 966674401 T25 Tap Trimmer Advance Head [amazon.com] and the trimmer kicks ass after I installed it. I have not even used my stihl trimmer since I replaced the head on the Dewalt.

Bought this set strickly on the deal value to me, not sure my old blower from dewalt is dying but it makes more noise than it uses to which makes me nervous.

Fantastic. I've been eyeing the String trimmer for a couple weeks, thinking I'd have to wait till memorial day for a nice sale. Thank God I don't have to plug my blower in to a 50 foot extension cord any longer.

This isn't the 10ah battery that goes in their lawn mowers is it? I'm thinking of buying the 20v lawn mower, and wouldn't mind the blower and the extra battery. Could sell the Trimmer for $50 or so.

Edit: duh, looked at the details. It's the 5ah. Still looks like it should fit the mower. Funny, the website says the mower comes with two 5ah batteries, but the tag at the store the other day said two 10ah batteries.

I have the blower, it's great for blowing clippings after mowing on my 1/3 acre yard. It's not the Flexvolt 60v blower, won't blow anything wet, but is great for what I need!
