I just bought it and with a standard 3.0 battery pack it is no stronger than the m12 fuel which is rated at 250lb/ft max.
It wouldn't break loose a 14mm harmonic balancer bolt torqued to 130ftlb.

that being said this gun is overkill for most people its pretty big and heavy so unless you are doing heavy duty work or zapping off lug nuts pretty often your better off with a reg version m12/m18 or the mid torque version of the m18 1/2".

Exactly. This gun will cost you more in the long run if not careful. If the nut doesn't give, it's breaking something connected to it
I'll spend $250 with a warranty and no tax over $203 without a warranty and with tax

Gonna have to buy one and find out. 😁
So true, when taking off a really seized lug nut one time, it twisted the post clean in half instead of taking the nut off! Luckily that's an easy fix, but there are a lot of locations where that might not be the case.
These cordless impacts today are the shadetree's dream tool.
I own the 8Ah battery if that helps.

Check the torque test channel, they showed that battery size has basically no effect for impact wrenches.
Gonna have to buy one and find out. 😁
If a high-torque M18 wrench "won't do it", you should probably be looking into 3/4" class impacts vs a 5-10٪ better 1/2" tool, regardless of manufacturer
