Even if the Samsung EPP deal comes back, this is still worth it for people that don't qualify for the EPP discount or prefer Amazon's return policy to Samsung's underwhelming 15 day return window (not to mention folks that have an Amazon card and get 5% cash back on Amazon).

That being said, for someone who doesn't feel like creating an EDU/EPP account, $20 is not a bad markup, though Samsung has 6% cb on top today and you get a few rewards points as well.
It was 10% the other day but it seems to come back every few days or so and then drops back down to 6%.
I've said this on other Samsung posts but I'm almost positive you can create an account on a site like Plum Benefits and click through to Samsung for the EPP discount. I think Perks at work is a bit more strict IIRC.
With EDU, I've seen a bunch of comments indicating that Samsung will try to verify you with ID . me or whatever it's called, if you try to buy a laptop specifically, unless you sign up with an EDU email.
On my end, I can confirm that I used my old college email and did not have to go through any additional verification.
Edit: just to be clear, I am logged in with my EDU account and am seeing the $479 price. It is possible that EPP no longer has the offer.
