List price: $699
There is a $150 costco shopping card that will be sent in 6-8 weeks if you use Costco Visa
and the additional $100 off $500 coupon (chat with costco rep online, you will get the coupon) brings the total down to $449.

Not a bad deal for a 4K 120Hz screen with very decent color accuracy. Relatively good 3 year warranty (with both ways shipping paid by Acer) along with unbeatable Costco return policy/warranty.

Looks like the Costco online chat webpage just added a disclaimer that basically says "don't ask us for the $100 off 500 coupon, lol…

What is the general consensus on this being HDR 400 and HDMI 2.0 instead of HDR 600 and HDMI 2.1? I read the models coming out this year will be both of those. Seems like a great use of the costco coupon if this is a solid screen.

You can always play dumb and ask for the coupon. I got mine 3 days ago with no fuss.

I think it all depends on where you will be using the monitor. If the room is not super bright hdr 400 should be plenty. There is always a "better and newer technology " coming. Since both discounts are time limited, I would give it a try and return it if you don't like it

The $50 off worked online @costco.com just now. I didn't check-out though.

So 700+tax-50 = $710 +150 Costco Card OTD

Basically, the $50 off 500 takes care of most of the taxes...state-dependent of course.

Great for a gamer if you have the right GPU to drive this thing!

According to this review doesn't really make much difference since contrast ratio is still normal IPS 1000:1. Really need VA or OLED 5000:1 or higher contrast ratio to make it pop.

Actually was thinking of getting this monitor before I got my NEC monitor due to 3D LUT and display uniformity of the NEC.
Only reason was even thinking of this monitor is because it is true 10bit 4K but doesnt really make much difference without 3D LUT or being able to modify it like the NEC can if you are serious about color accuracy.
Better off looking at different display if you are getting it more for HDR and look for the DisplayHDR 1000 certified displays that require at least 0.05 black min https://displayhdr.org/

Even the few HDR 600 competitors in the sub-$1000 range aren't all that great for HDR content because they don't have enough dimming zones to do it well. I love my LG 27GN950-B, but I don't use it for HDR for exactly that reason.

Not really in the market for an expensive screen right now, but this is a much better deal than it appears given that this monitor was $1500 just a bit ago.

But I also feel like MiniLED monitors are about to jump into the mainstream and will likely start going for in this sub-1000 price category within a year or so. It might be worth waiting unless you really need this. Monitor tech has accelerated in terms of improvement quite a bit lately.

more like 2-3 years. The yields are currently only good enough for smaller devices like smart watches and a trickling of laptops this year (MSI, Macbook Pro). sub $1k at 27" will be quite a while.

I owned this monitor previously. Bought refurbished, came with a ton of dead pixels, returned.

It's a step up from the XV/XB273K, but obviously lacking with HDR400, DP 1.4 (no DSC), HDMI 2.0, NOT TRUE 10-BIT. Supposedly pretty color accurate, but I didn't measure. The HDR is full screen backlit, so you can decide whether that's okay with you.

If you need a 4K, 144Hz, new condition monitor right now (that's not the GN950), this is the one to get.

For the record, these types of monitors (~$700) aren't comparable at all to new releases ($1000+ OLED, $3000 miniLED). Folks predicting massive price drops for miniLED future releases are lying to you, however you still should wait, as I imagine the 2nd hand market will see new stock in used X27's, PG27UQ's, etc.
