GREAT price. The 5420s are some of the best guitars at that price range out there, even at regular price. $500 new is a steal - even if not the most desirable color (I like it, myself). You can't get these used these days for this price.

Used price at Guitar Center is about 650, so yeah, slick deal here.

Yeah, I agree this is a good price, but definitely not my fav color. Don't get my wrong, I love green, but not this shade. They call it, "Aspen Green" but looks more like sage green to my eyes. It's very drab and utilitarian. Might as well be a saw or a lawn mower or something. If this were the blue or the orange one, I would jump on it. Who knows, I might even jump on it despite the color. Hmm, we'll see. haha. laugh out loud

I've been waiting for the $499 5420s again. I'd rather have the Fairlane Blue, but Aspen Green isn't too bad and the price is amazing for the quality. In for one!

Did they change the price? when I clicked it was listed at $499 on the product page, but then I added it to the cart and It's now listed at $849.99 in both the cart and the page. Frown

This place sucks. This guitar was advertised on sale at the price of $499 on the web page April 28, 29, and I don't know how long before. I called to order it April 28. They called back April 29 and I was told that they "could not honor the price; it would be around $800!" The web page still had it listed on sale on the morning of the 29th!

Adorama has no clue when it comes to guitars. I asked about a special edition Fender that I knew was discontinued, but their site listed as "Ships in 7-14 days". I asked them if that was correct (a person actually in their music department) and they said it was and to just place the order, so I did. Sure enough, about a week later, they cancel my order and change the product listing to Out of Stock.
