Except this inferior product doesn't use annatto, it uses artificial yellow 5, yellow 6 as per ingredient list.
I just recevied mine, although I'm not sure if the corners were previously dented or ended up that way from shipping. Probably both.
Did you order from Amazon Warehouse or at the standard Amazon price?
Amazon sends me literally EVERYTHING in those terrible eco-friendly paper bags with no padding. Papeback books? Who needs padding? Specialty hand-crafted cards? Those won't get bent without a box (newsflash - they do). It's like they want things to get damaged. Considering I know they're going to just send it in what amounts to a massive paper bag, it's going to be beat to shit either way. I'd rather get it for half price. As long as it's still got a few months of shelf-life left, I'll be happy.

For what it's worth, my 2 lb warehouse used cheese is good until December.

Awesome, thanks!
Assuming I like it, this thing will be gone well before December. That was my only other concern, but figured if it was too close to expiration I'd just get a refund. Sounds like that probably won't be an issue.
Now to hope that opening my eco paper bag doesn't puff up cheese dust along with those bits and pieces of styrofoam "padding".

Amazon warehouse used to mark all their items as "used," maybe they've improved their verbiage since then.
Just a little info for you!

And yes, thank you you make a good distinction. I am perfectly aware of the food processing systems, that's because for someone like my relative with celiac disease it's very important to know how food is handled and even some cross contamination can be a bad day. My comment was mostly directed at those how, like my relative, have severe gluten allergy to not blindly trust comments on SD (in the previous thread for the same deal there was someone sharing "gluten free" snacks ideas using this).

According to the 3 camels, the price for the 2lb white has been below $13 (and under $12 with S&S) since late March. The day after you posted this, the price shot up to $19 and has stayed there!
But I've got a 3Camels price alert, in case it goes back down.
We are all cheese lovers…can't we just all get along?
