In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

IF the phone doesn't meet up to the condition or the IMEI is different, is it possible to change the trade in device with T-Mobile? I searched and seeing different answers. Has anyone done this before?

I bought one for a friend of mine since it's available to be delivered tomorrow with prime.

Traded in iPhone 7 for $530 towards a 12 pro max.

Traded in the se2 for $530 towards a pro max.
Se2 was my phone….it was $400 so an extra $100 on top is good enough. Had it 5 months or so and the battery's health had dropped to 90% and the battery life wasn't that great on it tbh. For me that's more than enough value to get rid of it. Woke up at 8:30 it's 4:17 and my pro max has 79% still. It's so fast n smooth.
