Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

You're right. Finally showing now. Was instant on the line I did yesterday for a 12 Pro. Thought it had something to do with the new Purple color I got laugh out loud

Tempting as an A71 user from last year's T-M promo but I frankly don't like iOS and don't want to be in the Apple-mosphere of products.
The A71 doesn't have a good trade in value. The Mother's Day promo for the Galaxy series doesn't even allow an A71 as a trade, even at a reduced value. I bought an A71 from Samsung last year for trading in a busted screen S7. Got it for $199.

I just used the A71 to trade up to the iPhone 12 Pro on this promo for one of the people on my acct.

How much do you really like it would be the question.

The associate did every phone trade/upgrade separate, after I got home from the store I called 611 to confirm n they told me each phone got the credit.
Not trying to ruin your joy of getting a great deal. But it's gonna be very hard to prove something later ( he said, she said ) . The T&C clearly states two iPhones and two Samsung promotions max per account. If you did three IPhones, the 3rd one will be rejected and you will be responsible for the full $830. Good luck!

What would be the reason to give to CS in order to get $20 support charge back ?
Anything will work, T-Mobile app wasn't working for me it never has, nor does ordering from online.

I traded in an old iphone 8 i bought from microcenter then traded it in at a tmo store where I also paid off the EIP on a free nord N10 I had. Under my account history it says I purchased the phone with "JUMP! On Demand" What does that mean? When I did the Samsung S21 trade in a few months ago, that never showed up on my account.
Click on your phone in the tmo portal and see if they signed you up for protection<360>! It's $18/mo and luckily I caught it and cancelled it online.

It's not advertised but it's well known you can ask your Costco kiosk, they give $30 cc for home delivery.

Well, snap - if the Tmobile's own IMEI checker website tells you it's blocked, I guess this is indeed the case and this is very unfortunate. On my end I can only be glad this is not the case and so selling blocked phones by MicroCenter is certainly not a norm and more like an anomaly. Good luck with your case and I hope you can still find your iPhone 8 trade before the day ends.

You should be good, then. Debated going to the store but chose online option to save few $. Glad my IMEI / phone came out clean after all. Sending the phone (by mail) will obviously add some stress to the equation (last time I sent my phone by mail, the USPS tracking took 10 days (!) to even register the package) but I am still hopeful it will work equally fine this time.

Hello,

On Swappa, where, or what to look for after input IMEI? TIA

I do not see any comments anywhere

I checked mine on swappa before buying at microcenter and it said available. Went ahead and paid $20 to upgrade at a tmo store and they took it.
