Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

Traded in a One plus 7 Pro, why do the confirmation email for trade in says $95?
Because that's the value of the phone. So $830 - $95 = $735 is your bill credit. $95 will be a credit to your account.

Were these available in store without having to activate with them? This morning people reported that the boost stores weren't honoring the $149 online price. So I went with the microcenter $200 iphone 8. I also read that boost salespeople could be difficult to deal with.
The staff seems to have a lot of flexibility on offers. So I can see why some may think they are difficult.

Cost for activation, 3 months of service and the phones came out to 150 each. Exact cost I was expecting to pay when I walked in.

Did you call or did you do it online. Are you from East coast or west coast?
I was worry this AM about the expire time, luckily got a response from TM force it is midnight PAC time, where I am.

I did it online.

Though my interpretation would be 12 PAC time and EC people would be at 3AM.

Just realized TM is smart enough to chck your IP and know your location.

So it could be 12 midnight LOCAL time.

Still for any SD, do it now, think later.

I should have gone to Costco on Sat, but too busy. They could not order anymore at noon today.

But I am not going to lose sleep over $30 GC.

Cannot win on everything in life.

Yes. Mine shows Promotion = 0

But look at the amount of monthly credit.

Mine shows as $25.34

I swear tmobile makes this so confusing.

If you went to a store. And they accepted your phone. The promotion will show up as "0".
If you did it online, and shipped the phone. (I did the Samsung A32 5g, different deal). The promotion shows up as "2021 Samsung Trade P7"

But in all the cases, the Amount of monthly credit "seems" to be correct"

I just did trade in of iPhone 7 32GB for iPhone 12... The trade-in return shows my trade in is iphone 7 plus 32GB, not the regular iphone 7.... but the IMEI matches exactly as I input for my regular iphone 7..
Would this cause a problem when they receive and inspect??
This shouldn't be a problem as long as the IMEI matches and is in same category of trade value. It would be an issue if your IMEI was an iPhone 7 but gave them an iPhone 6. If you want peace of mind contact T-force on social media like Twitter and confirm with them.

We have 2 accounts so we did 4.

TM usually limit at 4/acct, except this time
Got it. Somehow their system allowed to order more than 2 which is a glitch. I suspect the promotion would not be approved for the 3rd device the

My Pixel 4XL phone screen is cracked a bit at the edge of a corner but full display works fine. Will they accept the trade-in with it? Is it worth to try with mail-in?

I don't see it on my account yet...need to wait 24 hours they said.

But my expectation is $30 + $6.99 x4 upgrades. At least I have my chat thread and I'm pretty sure we were on the same page.

did you just ask "I want $6.99 shipping refunded?" or did you give some reason?
Also, how did you tell them about the costco $30? any strategy? Smilie

T mobile will reject your trade in. I have the same exact issue when i went to the store. T mobile employee refused to take the minor crack.

I did two trade in and asked nicely as a loyal customer, for them to waive the shipping fee. They compiled and gave me statement credit. Via app chat. Took 10 minutes. Better than many other conversations I had T-Force.

Mine also showed 0 and I did it online too. The monthly credit seems to be matched up and equal to $830.

First I started out like "I have been with xx years and I haven't asked for anything yet, but could you able to waive the shipping fee." The CS waived it without any thought. That was my experience. YMMV. Good luck!
