Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

did you just ask "I want $6.99 shipping refunded?" or did you give some reason?
Also, how did you tell them about the costco $30? any strategy? Smilie

"I don't really need help with the upgrade..your site is easy to use. But was inquiring if you could match the $30 credit per upgrade from Costco"

I had to further explain "Costco offers $30 for every device upgrade. I got it when I traded in my Galaxy S9 for 800 off your S21. But I couldn't do another trade because they ran out of iPhone 12. Could you match that credit? Also, free shipping if possible."

They responded "I will coordinate this to my supervisor for the approval". "Got it filed for you, so we already escalated it so please wait for 24-48 hours for the credit on your account".

She waited on the chat while I provided the 4 order numbers, so hopefully I get $36.99 for each of them.

I traded in an iPhone 8 and the order confirmation page shows a "Original estimated value" of $79.00 (please see attached). Am I going to be getting back $79 or $830? Does anyone else run into the same? Thanks in advance!

Completely normal. If your checkout page said the full $830 then you should be good.

T mobile will reject your trade in. I have the same exact issue when i went to the store. T mobile employee refused to take the minor crack.
YMMV. I traded in an old iphone 7 that had a "crack" according to the rep, but it looked like a scratch from my keys. Store #1 wouldn't accept it. Store #2 spoke to their manager and she okay'd it.

I have to pay $350 for down payment. Is that correct? It does show the $830 total credit but why do I need to pay $350 down payment upfront?

I don't understand it. Can someone please explain?

Tmobile chat says my EIP credits are maxxed out, so it would require me to pay for the device in full up front. They said they will ask for a credit increase on my account. Only have 2 EIP on my plan. This happen to anyone else?
It happened to me. The 1st order went through fine, I only need to pay tax and shipping fee. For 2nd phone, I had to pay upfront total $811 ( $725 for the phone + $7 shipping + $78 tax). The rep said it's because my account has maxed out EIP. I will still get credit back every month for the next 24 month but I have to pay almost all upfront. My mom needs the phone so I just get it.
I did the trade in online while chatting in the app.
The rep was nice enough to gave me $85 credit back to my account ($30 cash back x 2 to match Costco, waived $7 x 2 shipping, another bonus $12 because today is his bday and he wants to put a smile on my face ).

Yes but do it quick. Time is running out. You'll get a trade in value for maybe $40-$80 but the full $530 credit will be applied on your account. I did the same thing with my BOGO (a LG G8 thinq)

That depends on your account available equipment limit. So if you have other financed phones, it takes away from that balance. In your case, you need to drop $350 upfront as that amount is exceeding your limit with the purchase of this phone.

The staff seems to have a lot of flexibility on offers. So I can see why some may think they are difficult.

Cost for activation, 3 months of service and the phones came out to 150 each. Exact cost I was expecting to pay when I walked in.
My guy did it for $175. 2 other stores wouldn't match at all for me so it still beat the Microcenter deal for me.
