Up to 830 is because if you buy 12mini it will have trade in credit or only $730 and not $830 and it you buy 12pro or pro max then you will only get $830 and rest will be on you. That's what upto $830 means so yes iPhone 8 will get you upto $830 depending on the device you choose

Where is Costco? They use to have similar deal as Tmobile but not lately. Wonder if we didn't kill the golden goose by canceling "new line" after getting the rebate.

For those of you trying to get a phone from SWAPPA like a iPhone 8 or S9 series, make sure you do order from an individual seller where the item/images clearly display the listing number.

In that case it's a unique listing offer and the IMEI will be displayed on the sales page right after your purchase. If you order good quality or spend $10 more for mint you should be golden. Once purchased on the sales page you will see the serial number (IMEI):

If you order from an enterprise seller with generic images and none displays the unique listing number the IMEI will NOT show up and you may have to wait until they are back in the office on Monday and the deal could be over.

No. The whole idea is for you to commit to T-Mobile for 2 years. That's why it is spread out like that.
Thanks and reped. If they won' credit me monthly for my paid off EIP, I will lose money for doing this, because paying off EIP early is money out of my pocket, Tmobile is supposed to continue credit me by monthly bill credit , as long as I stay with them, I understand that if I leave Tmobile before 24 months, I will lose the bill credit, but if I stay with them, paying off EIP early should not affect my receiving the bill credit, even the credit is more than my monthly plan charge, am I right on this? got confused.

Yes, you continue to get the bill credit. It will just go towards your regular charges.

This is only for new line and not existing lines, right? Are there any tricks to have it for existing line or maybe somehow keeping your old number?

This is for "existing" line to upgrade/trade.

But the deal was over several weeks ago.

I see in this thread that it was for new line on existing or new plan. Also, I see that same deal is still available on T-Mobile website, but nowhere do I see anything about upgrading on an existing line.

Your situation is unique as I don't think anyone has ever done what you're proposing. It'll be interesting to see what happens if you do go thru with paying off your 5th device. Technically, they should honor of credits even if your monthly bill would result in a surplus balance. If you do decide to do this, please post an update.

Anyone's phone arriving late? The iPhone 8 I shipped should have arrived May 18 but it is a week late already and still stuck. Shipping from CA.

That's a long time to be stuck there in Lewisville. Mine got there on Friday and got that late notice and it got delivered on Monday.

Still nothing from t mobile and assurant about my credit for trade in.

Hopefully you get texted soon about your trade in. My shipment still shows the same status on the USPS website but I think It just never got updated. I just got 2 consecutive texts this morning.

Your T-Mobile Apple iPhone 8 64GB Grey - Generic with serial number XXXXXXXXXX has been received and is currently being processed. For trade-in details, go to t-mo.co/mytradein17

On May 22 and then it got stuck there, or at least that is what the tracking shows. I would bet your phone is already delivered to Assurant and probably being assessed. On my T-Mobile account it shows my phone was both received and assessed on May 28.

If you placed your order with rep, they may put credit against your EIP device. If so, the credit will not show up on your service bill, but on your EIP device balance.
You were right. The credit ended up going towards the EIP balance of a device on my account. Unfortunately it didn't go towards the iphone 12 EIP, but to the EIP of another phone which belonged to another person. Head Bang
Now I have to contact them to fix their screwup.

I mailed in two IP8 plus for trade in, so far only got 1 processed.

Trade-in 1 (original screen):
Mailed out on 5/18
USPS shows delivered on 5/21
But still not accessed or processed by T-Mobile as of today yet.

Trade-in 2 (aftermarket screen):
Mailed out on 5/19
USPS status 5/25 still in transit
Today received T-Mobile text for credit of $99
Processing credit05/29/2021
Device assessed05/28/2021
Device received05/28/2021

Now I am worried about the trade-in 1 that says delivered. The trade-in 2 delivered later than 1 but already got processed.

Thanks for the reply, the only reason that I paid off EIP earlier is that I need to meet my bank of America credit sign up bonus spend requirement, as I didn't have enough real spend, also the card offers 3% cash back. Will report back, so far the other lines I paid earlier I did get bill credit, the reason I am asking, because the forth line I paid would cause my bill credit more than what I need to pay, but I guess Tmobile should still give me the credit, because otherwise, I would lose money by doing this, while Tmobile will profit from my loss and it 's not fair.
