This is the brand New 4k HDMI 2.1 version display from Aorus. This must have literally just gone on sale today. It's perfect to take full advantage of Next Gen Console or 30 series Nvidia video card gaming pc's. The specs on this monitor are insane. I'm waiting for the smaller 32inch version, but I don't think you will find this monitor in stock anywhere else and certainly not at this price anytime in the near future.

I'm perfectly OK with VA over IPS since I prefer contrast over color accuracy.
I suppose you could wall mount this and sit further back, but that would defeat the 4k resolution. At that point, just go bigger and the 48 CX OLED would be better overall.

For the TV side of things, the new Hisense line is very promising and the TV's are coming out very soon. Downside is that the minimum size is 55 which i'm not sure what they were thinking.

You mean this one?
Saying VA is better than IPS without stating the use case is very misleading.
I have two VA 144hz panels and while both have really good contrast and black levels, I still game competitively on my IPS screens. One of my VA panels has this subtle but noticable blurry black text. The other one has color shifting when not viewing directly at the center of the monitor.
With that said I typically go for the VA monitors because I don't game as much as I used to.

Also I find the height of a 48 inch display a bit too much in my setup. 43 inch is more workable.

The brightest OLED TV which is the Sony A90J now only does 169 nits full field vs the 1000 nits on this monitor https://youtu.be/D0t5s5eQ38k
Would've seriously considered getting this if it was IPS instead of VA since color shifts moving head around on such large screen going to be noticeable. I notice it on current 27" VA even and very annoying. Rather put up with some IPS glow and bright full screen HDR than perfect blacks on OLED.
