I don't know but on the reviews it's 10% 1 star reviews ?
That is ten (10) 1-star reviews out of 239, or <5%.
The complaints seem to be a gasoline smell. Since its not universal, I am guessing one shipment of them had something spill on them or near them in the warehouse or in transit.
Would have been a good deal for a cheap/decent ground cover (eg picnic) blanket to keep around but the store nearest me with stock is 68mi away so… I'm out.

Lemme rephrase: my kids have a nasty habit of taking my expensive (Scottish wool or otherwise) blankets outside to play with/on. It'd be nice to have something that I can say "take this and do your worst."
But yeah, Army surplus would work just as well. I just need to actually look for some.

If you live in colder states, get 2 or 3 as emergency blanket for the family. If a Texas type power outage happens during peak winter, this will protect you. I have compared prices and you cannot even get used at this price.
