I know its a bit early to possibly post this, but I wanted to get some discussion if this is a good printer, seems to be $20 less then the last time it was on sale.

A set of ink bottles for this printer are $49.99 at Costco, and a bit higher (about $60) at Staples and other retailers.
It was a no brainer for me given how much my wife prints for her business. It will easily pay for itself in a year. It's replacing an older Epson WorkForce and it got old spending $100 for a set of cartridges every 3 to 4 months.
+1
A couple of good videos on YT regarding the process. Depending on if you're planning on using it for a business, it may be worth it to get a dedicated printer for sublimation and another just for regular printing. Maybe you can write it off when you do your taxes?
Very correct. If you buy this for sublimation, never use the ink that comes with the printer. Fill it up with a quality sub Ink and dedicate that much to only that.
Its much cheaper to buy another printer to do regular printing on.
I used an Epson 2720 for sublimation, only sold it to find a wider printing machine.

Anyway, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase this printer.
Easily the most I've ever paid for a printer in my life. Probably at least double what I've paid in the past.
Why is it so hard to find a good printer these days? In 2018, I got a monochrome Brother printer on-sale for 40$ (Office Depot) and it was incredible. *sigh*
Fingers crossed with this one
On that note, what kind of paper do you guys recommend? I don't have a car, so I have to order from an online retailer...
But paper in general and also photo paper
would this be the route to go or the cannon laser printer?
