I just looked at the 50 gallons energy guide and it's off the freaking chart top line is $252/yr and this model is like $644 a year to operate. 😳 I can see why they are clearanced. you'll be paying a lot more in the long run.

I want to order one but I'm scared of the height. I really feel that the specs are off though....my current tank is about 36-38 gallons and only about 36" to 40" tall....it fits in my low crawl space

Excellent find OP! Pricing is great as is the quality of GE. My rental had a GE that lasted 15 years of use by a family.

Oh boy! 5 of each tall and short 50 gallons for my rentals! This is at least $140 or so cheaper than home Depots cheapest
