Samsung did discount the new Galaxy A52 by $75. I don't see this offer on any other site yet (amazon or bb). I've been checking these phones for couple of days and was consistently at MSRP $499 until today. Not sure for how long. Probably even better with edu/save@work but I didn't have those.
This is a brand new 2021 model, seems very good.

The Galaxy A52 has a lot of features that even the high-end flagships have done away with, such as expandable memory and a headphone jack. It has 128 gb storage, a striking 1080p Super AMOLED infinity display, quad cameras with 64mp main lens/32mp front, and runs Samsung OneUI 3.1 with Android 11 on a perfectly decent Snapdragon 750g processor.
The only drawback is that the US variant is not available in the fun colors of its overseas counterparts, but there are plenty of great cases out there to make up for it. At half the cost of the S21, this is a solid choice with guaranteed 3 OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

This is a very nice deal especially with all the discounts but is it GSM only or will it work on Verizon too?
Thanks....

In my case, I was looking for a new phone and a new carrier, so I bought the unlocked A52 from Samsung and severed a 15-year tie (more like a noose) with Verizon for Tracfone and I haven't looked back!
I can verify this phone does have HD calling (VoLTE) and Wi-Fi Calling available in the settings under Connections and Mobile Networks. In my experience, phone calls are loud and clear, and I haven't noticed any difference in quality so far using AT&T towers through Tracfone. There are even third-party apps for using Visual Voicemail, which was one of the few things that kept me with Verizon for so many years.
If staying with Verizon is important to you, they do offer the Galaxy A42 for use on its network, but the feature list differs quite a bit so you may want to compare the specs with the A52 if considering this option.

I'm probably gonna pass as I need a phone that will work with Verizon.
Plus I would guess that it's not esim capable?
I'm probably gonna have to spend a bit more and get an Iphone.
That would pretty much check all my boxes.
For someone just looking for a gsm phone with 5g capabilities, I think this is a very nice deal.
Thanks again for posting.....

I have had the unlocked A52 phone for a month now on Verizon and am well pleased with it.
