WAY too heavy to carry. If I'm putting anything on my belt and its that heavy it's gonna be a multi-tool.
Not super easy to open and close either.
I LOVE that it's made in 🇺🇸 but better options at this price point.
Btw you can't compare this to the Bugout. It's got S30V steel, not a lock back and is almost triple the price (~ $100)
'Made in USA' does not necessarily mean good quality.
If you want high quality knife, we are talking about VG-10, S30V or above.
I like the buck in the OP, but as some have said they are kind of losing hard to these chinese manufacturers.. good service and quality though. but just a poor steel choice imo.
Gotta love a company that takes care of their customers and products!

Actually it has some proprietary heat treatment and conpares to good sandvik
For those looking for a similarity priced knife that's much more carriable the Ontario Rat is very nice. The honey badger is also great. Both are around $35.
420HC is the cheapest and lowest quality steel used in knives today.
As far as I'm aware, 420HC is only made in China. It's probably stamped and assembled in the USA.
Buck has a lot of history and their locking knife is iconic. It's not the best knife for $30, but it does have history.
