I get prices going up for stuff, but like $5 more than past slickdeal prices for really crappy(i have bought these before, on par with rayovac that also suck) batteries?
These were a consumer reports worst buy a few years ago.
Have bought these before to put into my Xbox controllers. With very limited use, they'd die within a month or two. I'd don't recommend these batteries since they don't last long. Maybe you can keep them in a tv remote or something that doesn't require a ton of energy.

This is a decent price for a 48 pack of batteries. They last as long as you would expect for a store brand. I love the guy who complained that they only last 1-2 months in an Xbox controller. Ridiculous lol.
be careful on subscribe. I did subscribed in the last deal and there is no way you can cancel. It will not show in your subscriptions and BBY customer support also won't be able to figure out but every month it will ship and you will be billed.

You should be able to see all of your subscriptions and cancel them here:
Why anyone buy these instead of rechargeable charger & batteries? Are people so lazy or any other reason?
This garbage needs to die. You can get 8 Eneloop with a Panasonic charger for a mere $25. 2,100 charges/uses versus 48 batteries...half of which will probably die early or corrode. How is this ever a deal?
Select "Receive a shipment every 12 months" ---> Place an order (Do not save your credit card) ---> Wait for the shipment arrival ---> Go to Easy Replenish Page to cancel your subscription. Enjoy 48-Pack Insignia Alkaline Batteries at $10.70 plus tax.
I wouldn't recommend these batteries to anyone. I've used them on my daughter's toys and they die faster than any other batteries we have. They just do not last very long at all. I was surprised when I put 4 of these into a toy walkie talkie and I got a low battery warning sign after 3 weeks of use. The other walkie talkie that had older Duracell were still going strong. I have nothing against store brands and I've used many of them but these are the worst.

lol, I was gonna buy these for my kid's new toy walkie talkies. Thanks for the heads up.
Only good for very low drain or infrequent use applications and with a short shelf life. You land up going through these faster than a 12 pack of good batteries.
I don't have much good to say about Best Buy, but I've used these batteries for years and have been very happy with them. Unlike Duracells that I've had major leakage problems with, I have yet to have a single one of these leak. I'm sure one will leak eventually, but so far, so good!
I don't know why so many people in this thread have had problems with these batteries. Perhaps Best Buy has multiple suppliers, and some of them are better than others. Maybe Duracell makes some of them.
