Preorder a game. You won't get charged till the game ships out. Wait for this to ship first then cancel preorder. Problem solved.

Which is best in life? Should I order four and return three or signup for a trial Wallmart + for free and cancel before the trial ends. I did that with Amazon Plus and yet I've paid for it for two months PAST the trial period. I know, stupid of me.
Ordering 4 and returning 3 would pass on the costs to someone else and is clearly unethical in my opinion.

How is this compared to cobi?
The COBI ones actually resemble the F/A-18E Super Hornet and are worth the extra money imo. This is kinda just a rebranded generic "jet fighter" play set.

Their shipping costs are subsidized by the P.O. and they get a better deal from the P.O. based on how much "business" they give the P.O.. I worked for an OEM. The P.O. gave us insane, minuscule shipping costs, incentives, free boxes, tape, giant tape dispensers, rolling racks to stack the boxes in and workers wheeled them out to the loading dock where the P.O. would pick them up for free and drop off more supplies and rolling cage-racks for free. The company paid almost nothing for shipping. If they paid anything, it got written off. eBay sellers offer free shipping. Stores offer free shipping over a certain amount. Others offer you to join a club to pay a small amount to get free shipping for a year because it's subsidized, written off, an incentive to promote sales and fees to sellers and the website/store/plan/club to encourage buyers and sellers to increase sales of overpriced stuff. Studies show profits are way, way, waaaaaaay up. When places charge for shipping, they charge too much because they get a sweet deal from the P.O. or FedX and FedX hands it off to the P.O. for final delivery for part of the way and the final delivery at a sweet deal for them. They use to have to say S&H (Shipping and Handling) because to say they were charging you for only shipping and charge you more than what they actually pay for shipping was illegal.

It costs a lot for a citizen to ship anything but not companies. The cost to bulk mail, junk mail, adverts has been lower than a penny but the price of stamps for a citizen has gone up. All costs including to mail a post card has gone up while costs to companies for shipping has gone down. There was a whole competition thing and agreements on which carrier gets which weight/size/territory.

The citizen gets screwed on both ends while the companies insist they need low cost to make a profit and not pass costs onto consumers while profits skyrocket.

I didn't intend to do anything unethical. That's why I posted. I've read of many doing what I asked about in many "deal" threads. It's not a deal to charge $10 for a toy that usually sells for $20 and they paid $10 or less for or were credited by the manufacturer or it's to encourage browsing and sales of other items and charge you $7 or more for shipping they pay $1 for and ultimately write it off as a business expense on their taxes.

Many "things" are increased 100% in price by everyone who touches it. Not necessarily all businesses but in some, part vendors, suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers all raise the price 100% from what they paid for it. Some have lower profit margins when all is said and done for the quarter or year. Not necessarily pertinent to this thread or this matter but it's info.

I had no mal-intent. I wanted to buy a toy for a kid that is not sold in their stores and I'm out of work. That's another way they make money. It can be shipped direct from the manufacturer rather than from a Wally warehouse and Wally gets a bounty. Big box stores and not least of all Wallmart do not lose money. Their consumers, employees and the tax payer lose money in the scheme. I'm not looking to take advantage of and cause hurt. I don't want to be taken advantage of and the kid needs a toy during COVID and I'm broke.

The P.O. was great but has been screwed with and Wallyworld is known to work the system, be catered to by government and politicos and known for screwing communities and other businesses.

I'm not arguing. I'm just saying.

Be well.
