Just a comment.. the 120Hz ClearMotion is marketing. It's a 60Hz panel, no matter what, which shouldn't be surprising given the price point.

I'm pretty sure this is the retail price for it, at least every time I check in store that's the price it has. Never seen it go for more.

Great TV, ok deal. BJ's had it for $180 about a month ago.

TCL > Vizio when it comes to budget TVs imo. Every Vizio I've had is plagued with HDMI/CEC issues. TCL just... works.

How's this one for PC monitor?
I have and use the 43S425, which seems to be almost exactly the same as this model.
It works fine at 4k, supporting 4:4:4 and low input lag. It also seems to be HDR compatible with games but the effect is just average.
Again, 60Hz panel; don't get fooled by the 120Hz CMI marketing.

Don't buy it picture quality is no good.Vizio has better ratings and almost same price.
Thank you! I'm debating this VS Vizio V405-H19. And use case is daily work monitor, internet browsing and nothing with video or picture editing.

Been using a similar model as a second monitor for close to 18 months.

Works decent, some backlighting issues but just fine for web browsing, etc. I wouldn't edit photos on it by any means but pair it with a "real" monitor and you have a very cheap extra display.

Don't hurry up and jump as this tv is normally this price at best buy and sometimes around 190 or so. It lags a bit but not bad for my kids. I bought 3 at best buy for around 180 a piece.

And how is it working? I want to use it for day to day work related activities but i am skeptical about the viewing distance. Like how far you sit from tv and is the screen too big from close sight?

Agreed but haven't been many deals on budget TVs lately. Been keeping an eye out for a budget 50" for the past month or so hoping to find one around $200ish. Just gave in and grabbed a refurbished Samsung 50TU7000 for $242 from Walmart yesterday.

I have several tcl TVs and have been very happy w them.
Agreed! I have 4 of them. 2 55"(series 4) 1 43", and 1 65" (series 6) Never had an issue and I like the Roku interface the best. Roku also works well with mirroring android phones. They have just added "AirPlay" but I haven't tried it yet.

I would say, it will depend on your PC video card. It could be bad or good. The aspect ratio is one of the reason it might not be a perfect size as it can be too large horizontally or vertically, some video card would work well if VGA is used on the TV monitor and not the HDMI, some PC video card will work better on TV HDMI. But if you are just using this for a bigger view than your laptop? then go for it. You can always return it if you really don't like it.
