TCL > Vizio when it comes to budget TVs imo. Every Vizio I've had is plagued with HDMI/CEC issues. TCL just... works.

I was thinking of getting one for that purpose and would love to know the cons.....
It works fine at 4k, supporting 4:4:4 and low input lag. It also seems to be HDR compatible with games but the effect is just average.

Works decent, some backlighting issues but just fine for web browsing, etc. I wouldn't edit photos on it by any means but pair it with a "real" monitor and you have a very cheap extra display.

The tcl 43" was good too ...but vizio v405 has better angleview
