Not everyone play FPS game that need 1ms. There are other games you know.

Is that really the consensus? Millions of gamers via steam surveys are on 1080p 60hz monitors. 1440p 100hz is night and day different. This is a gaming monitor through and through.

I've had this now for almost a year now. Great monitor- I don't game or anything but for work it definitely takes the place of two smaller 23in monitors in my workspace.

I've setup and used mine for about 12hrs so far, workstation. So far so good! Love the screen real estate, even though im coming from a 32in 4k monitor, this is better.

I bought from Target a couple week ago at the same price as others have said. Similar feedback to others, it's been working great for productivity, colors seem a bit 'off' but I'm still playing with the settings. I bought that $20 gas desk arm that was on sale the other day and it works amazing on this thing. I've tried on my gaming computer with my 3080, this experience has been hit or miss. My computer is quite a bit away from my desk so it could be a cable issue. I bought a DP cable to run at 100 or 120hz and try to use g-sync. Even testing some games at 100hz has created some issues, screen goes black randomly, weird artifacts. This happens with HDMI and DP cable. I'm going to do more testing and see if I can get it figured out. When it is working for games, it looks great. I have read about some weird issues people have with this monitor, so just be ready to do some tweaking if you're trying to game at high refresh rates/overclock or try to use g-sync. As a productivity monitor it should work right out of the box.
Any luck with lower refresh rates and g-sync? Need it for flight simulator…

Right after I posted that I moved my desktop closer to the monitor. I tested with the cable that came in the box (DP) and was able to run at 100hz and 120hz with no issues. It looks great. I tested Days Gone and it looked amazing with my 3080. I'm testing now with a new HDMI cable I bought. No luck seeing g-sync options yet though, but haven't tried much except for looking in the control panel.

Bought two of these a couple weeks back - one for work and another for trading. These are great for productivity and it didn't take more than a day to get used to my first curved monitor. Can't comment on gaming, but text is just fine. Like it better than my 4K 27" monitor.
Still wish I could find some better settings for this, though. I'm sure the picture is not nearly as good as it could be and I'm terrible at eyeballing settings. Turned up the gamma and messed with brightness, but that's it. All in all, a good value
What don't you like about the picture? Too yellow, too blue, too something else?

Anyone have this?
I have this and I love it. Once you calibrate the colors, etc.. it looks fantastic. If you're not into twitch shooters, this will handle most games for most people.

My main 2 caveats
1: The stand is just not very good. It's super easy to put together and stable. But the lack of height adjustment sucks. BUT...it just gave me the needed excuse to get a nice gas arm mount and now I have total control of positioning.
2: I need to upgrade my GPU to better push it and that is impossible right now.

Honestly at $300, it's hard to find a better screen if you want a good size ultrawide. Just know ahead of time, some games don't play well with the aspect ratio. I've been using UW for several years and you learn how to find the hacks and settings to get things right. Thankfully there lots of great UW enthusiasts who make it possible with guides, etc...

I got this in the mail this week. I intended to use it on a arm VESA mount. The instructions for attaching it are minimal and too vague. However, I got it mounted. I had a 32" Acer Curved with a GTX 1080 and moved to this. This mofo is wide af. I don't have any dead pixels or light bleed. Regular internet browsing has most pages basically centered into the screen. I haven't tweaked the settings too much, but the monitor's colors, brightness, contrast looks okay. I haven't seen a lot of ghosting, but I've only played Immortals, Forza Horizon 4, Street Fighter 5, and a handful of other games that might not necessarily cause ghosting. They supported ultrawide. I understand what people say about the monitor controls/ button. It's rather annoying navigating through the menus. For the price, it's a decent monitor.

Mostly I just want to make sure my text is as good as it can be. I know enough to stay away from the "Sharpness" setting without some guidance. It's probably too blue right now; I can definitely adjust that. I feel like the gamma setting I have is great for not having the monitor too bright, but then I lose the color distinction on all my apps.

I'm a graphic designer and I have a question about these curved monitors. Does the curve of the monitor interfere with me visually trying to design straight lines? I know it's only a slight curve, I'm just worried something designed for a flat print could be slightly off if it's designed on a curved surface.

I ordered this last time on sale. Monoprice sent me a cornhole set instead, lol. Luckily it was via Target so easy to return to a store because Monoprice CS sucked when trying to get a replacement.

Then why would you need a "gaming" monitor at all? I'm just saying that "gaming" monitors generally refer to fast response times with high refresh rates. If you're fine playing with a regular monitor that's fine but it makes little sense marketing it as "gaming monitor".

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking about buying this monitor, but I think I might be disappointed if the colors or text are wonky. I probably don't have the patience to tinker with it for hours to get the colors/text right (if that's even possible!).

The VESA mount is pretty simple. Just don't throw the brackets away 😂

It seems kind of weird to see someone comment about having better screen real estate as a 32" 16:9 actually has about 18 more square inches of area than a 34" 21:9. and the 34" is only about 3 inches wider.

Don't mind me, in my mind I've been debating whether it would be better to get a 34" or a 32".

The Samsung is a 75Hz panel. This a 100Hz panel you can tweak. The Samsung will likely look better and decent warranty service.
