If you scroll further down the page it say a 2 year warranty. One would assume the product is new?

Here is Warranty info [dyson.com] on Dyson Vacuums from the Dyson Website.

Looks like the cordless vacuums come with a 2-year warranty

One might be reasonable to assume it is new... but it would also be reasonable to assume it's misinformation.

Dyson had the Absolute for $250 around Black Friday. I bought it and liked it so I will buy another if it hits that price again.

For those who want a fluffy head and need it now, this seems like a good deal.... assuming it is new.

Couple weeks ago Dyson sold the V8 on Walmart. It didn't say refurbished so people assumed it was new, but Dyson shipped refurb units

I was thinking it was a 2020 deal but it looks like it was a 2019 deal.

I suppose the model is "Absolute" which comes with "a soft roller cleaner head for hard floors and a motorized cleaner head to remove dirt from carpets".

This one only comes with the soft (fluffy) roller head. The Absolute also comes with other stuff that this one doesn't.

I think the Absolute comes with the carpet roller and the fluffy roller for hardwood. The Fluffy model does not come with carpet roller I believe.

Thanks and reps to both of you. Looks like that deal was for BF, so I will hold off to see what pops up later this year. BTW, it was for the Absolute V8 model (there are several [dyson.com]options that are called Absolute). $349.99 is the current sale price versus $449.99 retail on Dyson. Good info!

Even worse, it explicitly said "New". I had my order cancelled and stopped mid-shipment by Dyson. Not the first time they have messed up an online sale. Love their products but their sales tactics leave A LOT to be desired.

I wouldn't be surprised if these are refurbs or get cancelled.

Retail on the V8 Absolute is $449.99 on Dyson... but it's $100 off right now. Hopefully it will be $200 off come Black Friday or Cyber Monday.... then I will pick up another one.

You probably dodged a bullet. Although some people got lucky and received it, then complained to Walmart and got a full refund without needing to return
